Lab_Rat
Hey AP, was that an English SEtter? If so, I think i know who you mean Yep! I will be baking cake tomorrow, as were heading to Perth Friday morning......So I will endeavour to make cake delivery rounds Friday night....The closer it gets though and the more I think about it, the more nervous I am feeling - I hate introducing myself to new people ;) (you would think being 42, I wouldve gotton over that kinda sh*t, but ahh, no!!).....I will apologise now if I sook out and dont introduce myself to any of you But I WILL try!!!!! Don't be silly! We are a friendly bunch, probably talk a bit too much though! After trianing last night I was talking to RosieFT and Mirawee and Ozjen for ages, then RosieFT and I said we were going then I think we ended up gasbagging for another half an hour next to the cars RE puppy schools - Kyzer went to puppy school. And look at hime I think puppy schools can be good but I will never ever again go to one that is just a free for all with puppies getting smacked down all over the place, especially with smaller puppies. Most fo us are abit shy to start with Labrat, but our mutual love of dogs makes it easier to mix and then you can't shut us up. Thanks Ozjen You there Friday night??? Or Saturday..... BCPuppy
Hi fellow sandgropers. We have finally organised to have a holiday after all the hard work building new house and are looking at hiring a camper trailer and spending 10 days down south west WA in May. Has anyone got some recommendations for pet friendly camping and places to explore? Would love to hear everyones experiences, this will be the first time we have camped with her and are really looking forward to it. RosieFT & ncarter Thanks for the input people, not completely settled on camping so I will have a look. Dont know about chooks, she has never met one! She was OK with a duck on the other side of the fence tho! As for the cold it will be a nice change This summer has been so hot and humid up north we are over it. If I end up taking a new job offer, mine will be at home 10 or more hours a day on their own, instead of the current 9 hours. I don't think they will notice as much as I will! SparkyTansy
The owner asked how much I had paid for my puppy and when I said $1100, she said that's why they went to a BYB to get their puppy. I'm surprised their pup was "cheaper", BYB's usually charge as much as registered ones! And the main reason they go for a BYB is cos they can get one now and don't get screened. Each to their own, eh? Yeah our friends paid $750 for there chi x that they got, I paid $1000 for Mason Pason 2 years ago so I am expecting it to be around $1500 maybe, as I have seen labs advertised anywhere from $1200 to $1700 here in Perth. Your friend got ripped of bigtime, could have got a reg ped for that or less. I read that as Mason Pearson and thought you must be crazy for spending that much on a brush Ok guys please send me some puppy dust/puppy vibes... Ari is in season and I really am hoping it all goes to plan!!

mirawee
Varda is a stunner!! I don't think i've ever seen a Lappy before Thanks Jodie... and she knows it too Lappies are lovely dogs She might end up being a film star too! Just got a phone call from someone looking for a Lappy to star in a TV commercial Given there aren't that many Lappies in WA who could do what they need (I can think of maybe 3 and that is pushing it) I may as well send her photo in They pay $500 as well! Wow, ask them if they need an Aussie or Pap for any other commercials then I can send the kids out to work for me instead of me working for them. They would be making more than me at that rate. That is so cool mirawee! How'd they get your number? Ask if they need a yellow Lab, I think that child of mine should also go out and earn herself some dollars! I say her and not Millie cos the yellows show up so much better in print and stuff, and she's a natural born model when the camera comes out, just poses there like a princess She has a few party tricks, too And yep, I'm biased, but I think she's so much prettier than half the Labs they stick in Kleenex commercials :p :D The current puppy they use isn't that attractive, but the adult boy they use is pretty spunky :D
mirawee
My details are pretty easy to find if you are looking for Finnish Lapphunds in WA When I asked what kind of things they wanted a dog to do one thing was catching a ball. I don't know any Lappies in WA who are that ball orientated lol Although I could possibley teach Varda to catch in a month - she catches food They did want a second dog too but I didn't ask which breed sorry!
