Rusky
She is teaming up with Jillie Seeing Millie will be there too, I thought we'd have some fun if I can find her a partner :D ask Emma, she might be interested. I need to watch a few first
mirawee
Are there any novice strategic pairs dogs jumping 500 who wanna make a fool of themselves with me and Millie at the Cloverdale fun trial in January? Abbey or Jenna? I am assuming we are going Abbey may be best as long as Millie doesn't come over and visit, Jenna is a bit too attracted to other dogs running near her sometimes :D

RubyStar
What date in January RubyStar ;) . Oh wait that would make it even more hilarious :D - watch the bars come tumbling down . 22nd January I believe. She is teaming up with Jillie :p Seeing Millie will be there too, I thought we'd have some fun if I can find her a partner :D ask Emma, she might be interested. I need to watch a few first Need to have a dog jumping the same height for Strat Pairs... and I don't think Rosie would be able to jump 500! Would be interesting if she can, though Are there any novice strategic pairs dogs jumping 500 who wanna make a fool of themselves with me and Millie at the Cloverdale fun trial in January? :p Abbey or Jenna? RubyStar
I was going to enter both of mine in the one team and Valley was going to handle Ruby for me, but after seeing a team where one person owned both dogs and how disastrous it was (dog wouldn't work for the other handler when "mum" was nearby, kept going back to her!) it is probably not a good idea to have both mine in at the same time :D
ozjen
Well I am home from my conference and still need to catch up on all the gossip. It will be fun though as I now cannot talk! As in even whispering is hard :D This made it very interesting trying to say goodbye to everyone - they all kept laughing at me To top it off I have an agility trial on Saturday night and a horse show on Sunday but I don't need to be able to yell "here" to my horse :D I had my first taste of what it'd be like to run my own Aussie in agility last night. Thanks to ozjen's sister, I had a quick go with her Abbey and SO MUCH FUN!!!!!! Sure she's a masters dog so made any of my handling inabilities look good, but I had a ball ;) Maybe you need to be on standby for Saturday Think you could remember a Masters level course? :p OzJen, you up for Novice agility with Jenna? NO!!!!!! Better find that voice before Saturday me thinks. :p

Not sure if we will make this one, I know we have something else on for one of the January trials.

mirawee
OzJen, this event is the teams one at Cloverdale. Thought we could try a team of the two Aussies and Amanda's two poodles if everyone can make it But figure out what is on and we will talk about it (well you can talk I will sign/write :D ) on Saturday. Went to Dr today. 2 minute consult with him telling me drugs won't work and I just need to not talk but it should sort itself out in a few days ;) It is going to be a really interesting time though - do you know how much talking you usually do when you do something simple like shopping? I think everyone will think I am a snob by the time I can talk again
ozjen
Okay, so has anyone else got a possessed Babbleball? Last night I was startled by Jenna's babbleball going off a couple of times while I was on the computer, no dogs around and nothing to make it move ect. I was startled more because or the sudden voice in an otherwise silent house not because I am nervous being alone, but the same could not be said for later that night. I don't sleep well and everytime I woke up this babbleball went off but it kept repeating the same babble bits, which were the laugh and I'm gonna get ya. Now the first time I laughed but after it continued to do it throughout the night each time just after I woke, I started to get seriously freaked but kept telling myself to stop being silly and besides there was a closed door between the babbleball and Jen and I. Funny how all the horror movies you have ever watched start the brain working overtime. Well, morning and daylight didn't come quick enough for me and I lay in bed telling myself how silly I was about being so spooked by a ball. So why did I shut Jenna in the on-suite for her safety while I cracked open my bedroom door to see if the babbleball was waiting to get us. Silly thing mocked me with complete silence, the whole time I was getting ready for work, even though I kept checking that it hadn't moved. Went over to my parents place after work, told them about it and had a laugh about it and me being so silly, I think I was working up the courage to come home. Came home and kicked the Babbleball around the house, to let it know who's boss and that I wasn't afraid of it and that if it did the same thing tonight I would have my baseball bat handy. It wasn't so talkative but did it have to say that tickles, laugh and I'm gonna get ya. :D ;) Anything happens to me the Babbleball DID IT!! Nope no pets loose in the same room as it. wouldn't mind it babbling if it was mixed babbling, but no it had to keep threatening to get me, or maybe it was Jenna it was threatening. :p It was just me that felt threatened. :D
pie
Yes mine was piping up last night (but it's an animal sounds one - not as scary as a talking one :D ). But I worked out that it was because it was sitting under the air con vent so the breeze must have set it off (I hope :p ).

It is currently silent, if it starts again tonight its DEAD! That's if I can work up the courage to open my room door, I thought I was brave enough to kick it around when I got in from work, but then I'm braver in daylight. I have a couple of babble balls - the talking one has recently died after someone somehow got it wet (drool or pee or something) but yes it used to talk on it's own accord as well, although I never felt threatened by it The animal sounds one is SO loud, I have shut it in another room so if it does go off in the night, it can't get out I won't hear it. :p
