RubyStar
I love the view from our office boardroom windows - overlooking the river Good thing I don't work from in there, or nothing would ever get done!! And might I add, it's a tall building in the city at a high level, so nice view that spans quite a distance! :D Edited October 5, 2010 by RubyStar

pie
Oh and I have a view of a reception area, a fluffy dog, the front door, and the occasional client, I'd much prefer a leafy courtyard
SparkyTansy
it's not that exciting RS i'm going from a marketing and admin role to an admin and marketing role :D i actualy prefer admin side of things so i'm happy!! LOL @ Dulux... i should be on their payroll Yep LM is Large Munsterlander ;) I may have talked someone into getting one (and it being white with flecks has nothing to do with it, or the fact that it was on my one day list!) hey guys maybe we should do a bit of a christmas windup thingo what about dinner out somewhere? what was it like at the greyhounds last time - any good? or we could all meet in the city for dinner? might be fun! (we can still do a doggy meet too)

So, I'm in Greyhounds was ok last time, but I like the idea of the city, somewhere a little more posh ;) (but not too posh, I'm flat broke ;)) Edited October 5, 2010 by RubyStar

RallyValley
It would also have to have good ambiance (i.e not so loud you have to shout) and the ability to swap seats or mingle. Anyone know of a place? Things are starting to book out for X-Mas things already! (My boss was trying to plan out X-Mas do today!)

Guest RosieFT
Have you considered Adenia Reserve in Riverton?Bounded by Adenia Road, Duff Road and its northern prolongation to the Canning River Foreshore, the Canning River and the northern prolongation of Verdon Street. Its a fairly big grassed area and it has a BBQ with one picnic table. Its not right on the water, so you would have to walk them to the river if they are allowed a swim. There are trees along the boundary of the park, so you have shade, the road is a dead end and very quiet. Its just down from Riverton Shopping Centre SSSHHHHHHHhhhhh ! hee .. i walk from my house, over High Road, down Duff road and Rosie has a lovely walk along Bannister creek down there. Our favourite walking spot :-) It has been such a dry winter that the tracks that are usually under water are walk-able. Have not noticed a BBQ though??? I know Mt Lawley Hotel does lovely food but that isnt strictly the city - and I know that they are not that expensive. Edited to add that if there is somewhere nice in Burswood Casino to eat we could go there? That is just outside the city too.
