CrazyCresties
Big congrats Ptolomy, Bedazzledx2 and vallyCBR I've got good news, Sophie has a sprain not a tear although she may tear it yet because like George(Vet) said of the way she walks (she has funny bandy legs), but I'm resting her for another week at least and she's going back for another cartrophen injection in a week so fingers crossed she'll be fine, she ended up having her anal glands done he said they were really blocked up and that's why her back end was up funny . Fingers crossed for Sophie, hope she stays nice and calm for you while resting I wam wanting to go to Royal but I am scared to go alone as I think I will probably get horribly lost :D If you'd like some company I'd like to go to the Royal too - my OH would get bored after 10mins so I'm better going alone I won't give details but let's just say I will now be supervising her toilet breaks at night for a while because she's doing some magical tricks that make my head spin! ewwwwww why do we love these foul creatures so much :p Wazzat sorry to read about Kim, hope she's feeling ok - does this mean you'll be strutting your stuff round the ring now ;)
Mas1981
Eeeeuuuuwwwwww!!!!!! Dogs are revolting sometimes aren't they!!!!! Yep..sounds like supervision and pick up is in order!!!! Mine love cat poo....truffles!!!!! and then want to kiss me...I don't think so!!!!Ruby just got in trouble for doing something that makes me wanna and the thing is I have no idea how she is doing it! I won't give details but let's just say I will now be supervising her toilet breaks at night for a while because she's doing some magical tricks that make my head spin!Anyway, I growled at her, and she slumped down into bed looking all sad. I went into the lounge room where Millie was and sat down with her to give her a cuddle and her tail is thumping loudly on the wood floor. Ruby hears this so sheepishly comes into the lounge room and sits right next to me, looking at me with these deep soulful "sorry" eyes and I could only hold out less than 10 seconds before emotion totally overcame me and I gave her a cuddle She knows how to work me with those puppy dog eyes! Can't stay mad at her for long Mason also used to eat kitty crunchies as a pup - I groused him so badly that he does not do it anymore, my ridgebacks never outgrew that habit unfortunatly! RubyStar
Nope, Ruby has not outgrown her disgusting habit of having a dessert of chocolate pudding after her dinner. No amount of growling at her makes her stop, but she does know it's wrong because she won't go near it if I am out there supervising and the second I turn my back, she sneakily dashes off! It's no longer hers she eats, it's Millie's (and Ruby is definitely not the dominant one of the two!!) I pick up as soon as Millie has been, but sometimes she does it in a dark corner and there is no way I am trudging out there and stepping on it instead of picking it up. Anyway, to give more details, it wasn't that she had eaten it, but for the 3rd or 4th time THIS WEEK she has come in with poo on her HEAD!!! I have no freakin idea what she is doing. She is either sticking her head under Millie's bottom as she goes, or rolling on it (in a very funny angle!) after it's on the ground. Watching her to see what happens won't help as she won't go near it when I am looking. Have to somehow spy on her. I'm truly baffled, and definitely grossed out! Sorry for so much detail Rach, are you sure you still love Ruby after reading this? :p This poo habit is just the one and only thing about her that I would love to change, apart from that, she's pretty close to perfect in my eyes

I must remember him if my vet is ever away, I am very very happy with my new vet though, he is the only vet that understands Masons allergies and works with the derm to make his life more comfortable. We have our club comp tomorrow, not too confident as he is on cortisone and antibiotics at the moment as he has had a nasty flare and has hotspots and really bad itching

Lab_Rat
Cute baby mirawee ;) I like the cross too, makes a good horse!! I have just had an exhausting weekend at a bazillion dog shows........................I am soooooo knackered! I had a lovely time tho, although I didnt get to catch up with any DOLers apart from WX, who just happened to be sitting with her two gorgeous pooches very close to where we were camped . So I got Naca hugs, and feel very lucky! Thanks J! I saw some lovely dogs, including some south aussie ridgies, cute as buttons 14 week old basenjis and some nice little kelpies....Now after a three hour drive I just want to sleep.
