Yay I have something to read when I get home from training.... very sad that I like reading my Canine News! ;) Ohhh hopefully Ruby's title will be printed in there  Yes, I get excited over small things :o

Annoying thing is I was at the car this morning as the postie pulled up, and I couldn't be bothered going out there to get the mail off him and then thought I will just check the mailbox when I get home cos it won't be anything interesting. Poo!

Yay Kyzer's title should be in there too!

Ahahah you could have been reading it this whole time!

Just got mine... tried to convince OH that we should go to Albany for our family holiday in November instead of Augusta but he wasn't keen....:)

I've been to Augusta once.... what the heck is there to do for a family holiday?! ;) It was like a dead end to nothing ;) :o

I want to do the country shows so I can hurry up and get Lincoln's title! :)

ETA Just to mean I want to do as many shows as possible, not because I think country shows will be somehow easier.

No I mean you could have been reading your Canine news all this time! That would have got some interesting looks on the train ;)

Why would it have gotten interesting looks on the train? I have read mine on the train/bus, plus other dog mags, plus horse mags, plus books... When you have 2 hours on public transport every work day you find things to read :o

Just going by the weird looks I get when I take mine to work  Maybe the public transport system is more accepting ;)

Um, have you been on trains recently? I mean you have people sleeping, kids being feral, teenagers playing music way too loud... reading a dog mag is nothing :o

And hey, at my work I have a toy alpaca on my desk! And another guy has about 10 jars of different lollies ;) So we are a pretty accepting bunch :)

No bloody dog shows, that's for sure!!

Probably the best bakery in WA is there, that's a start :eat::laugh: As long as there's a beach my kids will be happy :o and it's only 30 mins from Margaret River if we get bored... we were hoping to go for a longer trip up North to Coral Bay/Exmouth for 10 days or so but unfortunately that has proven to be an impossibility at this stage - just not able to shut the kennels down for that length of time :( So down south it is for a long weekend, and OH has fond memories of Augusta holidays as a kid so we'll give it a go... not to mention the caravan park we are staying at is dog-friendly  so hoping Buzz can come with us... the other 4 will have to stay and be baby-sat though

To be honest 4 days anywhere would be a good start :o

The weirdest looks you get is when you train your dogs outside the shops. I work near the door as it has the largest flow of people (obviously ) with the added bonus of the door opening on its own being distracting and potentially frightening :) People sitting inside Chooks yesterday were glaring at me outside. But then you get the kids who love to watch and tell their mum "look there's that big doggy again!" I think the trolley boy thought I was weird, and the guys at the ATM probably thought I was doing something dodgy when I would walk past them quite close several times

 When Lincoln had his first show coming up I panicked and took him down to the shops so lots of people would touch him and I was all 'he loves being scartched on his chin' so he would get used to people touching near his mouth for the judge. But I forsee heelwork at the shops in his future.

You are braver than me, I would be way too embarrassed to train right near a shop  besides Mason would do NO work , he is too easily distracted
