Anyone in Perth looking for a new crate? Topbuy have the steel framed ones on sale for same price as the ones that only zip up - $39.95. I am going to order one, but just want to check first if anyone else wants to order as well so maybe we could combine postage.

http://www.topbuy.com.au/tbcart/pc/viewPrd...idproduct=14748

Let me know if interested! Sale ends soon :mad

Well kinda.... If you can imagine a number 10 clipper blade (short) without the cutting blade and put that on a handle. Its good for shortish double coated dogs...labs, kelpies etc. Its an old groomers trick fancied up and works really well!
So how does a furminator work??? What is the actual tool?? I saw a video at City Farmers the other day, and wondered what the actual mechanism is that removes the hair??

its like a metal comb with teeth which pick up the loose, dead hair from the coat as you brush with the *what's the word rofl* same as shaving lol go with the way of the coat

Ok disclaimer i am sleep deprived and brain isn't working lol or i am having a bad blonde brain fart moment. i love it to remove the dead yucky coat leaves them sleek and shiny :mad

there you go thats a better description :D

works very well on the rottis :)

No didn't end up entering Open RubyStar - didn't know a certain two WA people were coming across did I :mad . However will be going down to cheer them both on :D.

Ness is getting her first run in Open in well over 12 months next Saturday. Went training last night and they asked if I could put her in the interclub challenge for Open. Should be interesting might have to remind her what a retrieve on the flat and a retrieve over the jump are between now and then.

Be thankful she's not taking Cider - she'd be returning dogless then! I might have to steal her while she's away then :mad

 Heavens, I don't look in here for a day and then suddenly there is 4 pages to catch up on!!

Amypie - you so know you want a Whippy :D No home is complete without one :D I think Trixie & Buzz zoomies would be awesome to watch... you should see him do zoomies with my Frenchie girl, funniest thing in the world watching her little stumpy legs going flatchat trying to keep up with El Speedo

Thanks Mirawee - Buzz would love to give you kisses at your earliest convenience - he is an expert! :)

Ptolomy - will be sure to make sure Buzz & I say hi next time :p Would love to meet the Red Ones in person!

R&H - good to see you back!! Hope you guys had a blast... and you know very well that my husband is not allowed to have a soft spot for Westies! :( ;) Anyway, he has been completely swung over to the Whippet Dark Side ;) He looooves his little man :D

LabRat - Llama pics are a must!! Buzz & I will be at the Hound Show & the Sighthound shows the weekend of the 11th & 12th - see you there! ;)

Emery - good luck with your gorgeous baby - she'll get there!! Patience is a virtue, so they tell me...

Good luck to all of you making the trek to Adelaide - enjoy & bring home the spoils! :mad

Off to do houseworky type stuff... anyone else going to Zumba at K9 tonight? I'll be there in all my un-coordinated glory, should be fun!

There's Zumba at K9? :D

I must have a Whippet one day, is it harder to find confident ones though? I want a Buzz :)

I'd love to do Zumba :mad I knew they had classes at Cockburn on Wednesday nights and have been meaning to go for ages

Also I would steal them all :mad I don't think there is one I wouldn't have. ;)

Strauss is going very cheaply at the moment - I got home yesterday and all the dogs were soaked - I said hello from a distance and watched what was happening - he would pick up a retrieving bumper and take off around the back yard doing zoomies and the others, including the old girl would chase him. I can add rain to the things that don't bother him

As for taking things - yep I lost my hairbrush, shampoo and a towel from the bathroom this morning - blink and they were gone - bless him NOT. The one downside to him getting bigger is that he now has a bigger reach :)

Zumba - hmm the mind would like to do it - the body is still recovering from a weekend of rennovations - think I will pass this week :D

I was just generally scared that afternoon. I was due to start work in Midland at 4 and it was like 3.15 when we chatted. ;)
