mirawee
Poor Gibbs :) But I am assuming the prognosis is good now it has been done?
Mason_Gibbs
Poor Gibbs :) But I am assuming the prognosis is good now it has been done? Well it's really a waiting game, prognosies for ellbow dysplasia is hardas basically at 8 months he has no cartilage left in his elbow. They have cleaned out the joint, taken all the shards out and the cartilage will repair itself. They cut out a section of the bone of his ulna to make the joint sit on the right bone, the weight was sitting on the wrong bone in his leg. Arthiritis will be a reality pretty early in his life. Have been thinking alot about gibbs and thinking about Rosie's ongoing problems.. ugh. He is actually doing really well pain wise, he hasn't been whining or crying at all. All I can say RosieFt is I wish I had had him at the specialist sooner. Dr Tom Hill has been fantastic with Gibbs, if we had seen himsoonerperhaps we wouldn't have such damage to the cartilage
