Personally going to split heights has made it so much harder to try and get decent sponsorship for the agility.

210 prizes are required for performance at the Western Classic weekend (assuming all 3 games are on offer) of which 70 of them are 1st place awards!

Add the showing awards where you have 63 prizes at group level, 9 at show level and probably between 100 and 150 at breed level. Of course the show mob get 2x that because they have two shows.

Geez, figuring it all out is doing my head in and it makes me even more impressed by what Penny has achieved

Bedazzled, I wouldn't mind having a winners of winners for obedience except that having 2 mins prep time between being told they need me and having to go in the ring was  I had no idea Abbey had won since she was one of the last dogs in before stays, then I had to run to CCD stays straight after, so I had no time to check out the scores before they were packed away :o High in Trial sounds less stressful ;)

All three games are on offer - PLUS teams (so 4 prizes for each place) and also did you count that there are two for each place in strat pairs? Owww my brain

Yep Penny has definitely done an impressive job - I don't envy her!

Can someone please remind me what is on which night agility and obedience wise? Don't have my schedule with me, thanks.

Um, of course I counted two for strat pairs... (don't look at the edit above...) Games are on heights for all three as well aren't they? That is how I worked it out :) I did remember teams :D

Thursday: Obedience Challenge

Friday: Obedience

Saturday: Agility

Sunday: Games

Monday: Teams

Off topic to dogs

I just finished my first day back at school :D Am I allowed to say I can't wait to go back?! It also involved a test today, and I still wanna go back  Yeah I know, novelty won't take long to wear off, but I have the bigger picture in my head which will hopefully get me through!! Great day :cheer:

PS: Can't we all just get along?

Yeah come on people, this is the friendly thread - Group Hug :grouphug: :D

but.....interestingly isn't it the reverse in horses? I seem to remember show jumping and eventing getting all the big money prizes, where as show champions were grateful for a bag of feed

Yes I love stationary!!! How exciting RS!

Love stationary too :)

 Weirdos :p

Good news from the vets, Louis had an acrochordon (posh name for a skin tag  ) and it's all benign

I have just got home from my second obedience class and am quite impressed with them

Instructor is thourough, and explains why we are doing what we are doing plus Hemi was used as an example last week, and then she told me not to bother working on one of the exercises as he had it down pat :) Maybe one day I will be competing.....

Agility was so terrier less last night... :( Though there is an adorable greyhound in Zoras class who is so cute!! Especially when he gets excited and does a zoom! But so reliable off leash too.

I love agility and realized how much I missed it last night. Zora has been following me around since as if to say 'more please' she had fun doing her sequences, playing with her toys and with all the other puppies.
