Bugger MG, that is a huge expense to suddenly have foisted on you :(

Yup I'm in shock, been saving my butt of this year trying to save for home loan deposit. Then I hear Gibbs may need surgery and now the huge bill, so even tho iv been saving I'm just going to be in debt which sux I can pay for one but not both and seeing as I will get traffic violations if I don't pay I guess we will be paying the vehicle transfer bill. All the other times we bought cars it's been included in the price but not this time!!

Well done, emery!!!

That sucks, MG :( Hope you find the money hidden in the back of the couch that you didn't know was there (but if you do, I recall losing 2 grand last time I visited you ;))

I'm just online quickly because it is almost 4pm and I haven't packed for my holiday tomorrow! Too bad if I need to do any washing beforehand, huh?

I've been running around all day back and forth to get pet insurance claims forms sorted. Both are sitting in their envelopes finally, ready to post. Claiming for just under $1500, yikes! Here's hoping I get it all back, minus my excess of course :crossfingers: Not a good time for the bill with the holiday and all, but I am just so glad the two girls are fine. Millie needed antibiotics today as her mouth has become infected from the teeth being removed. She had developed some shocking breath from it!!!!

Did you buy from a dealer?

RS, I hope you have a great holiday. If you need to wash clothes that is obviously a sign that you should just buy some while you are away  Hopefully the antibiotics will fix Ruby up quick smart :)

MG - they said they sometimes send them home with AB's but sometimes wait and see as the mouths usually heal fast? Or something to that effect  Trying to remember if she was on them the first time she had this surgery. I have a feeling she was.

Its just strange as the mouth is one of the most dangerous places to have infection. Glad she has antibiotics now though

RS has Ruby's clipper burn wound healed up?

Ptolomy I loved that video. Chica will be in for a surprise when she arrives and there's nothing remotely like snow to be seen! I met a toller once and she was such a lovely dog, gorgeous too.

Yes it almost has. Just a tiny bit of scab left. Vet gave me neocort for it but it was already healing well by then so didn't use it. Just dabbed it with hydrogen peroxide maybe once a day or every second day and kept a bucket on her to give it air and dry it out.
