Good luck to all the DOLers with sick dogs! Fingers crossed for Millie tomorrow RS.

Toby started limping Monday for the first time in a long time :( However he has chewed a big sore between his toes on one of his feet and I have been treating that and the limp is getting better, so it looks like it was just to stop him stepping on the sore foot not an actual soundness problem!

Yeah it's his allergies. He has been so good for ages and now the itch! :( He did have a minor diet change so that is probably what has brought the itching about.

Nothing has changed with Masons diet so no clue to what's making him itch besides maybe high pollen count. I myself have had hay fever the last few days so it must be it. I must make a plan to meet up with you to grab my Cabela's stuff :)

RS will be thinking of you and Millie today! When it rains it pours right?

James' turn is next week ...

poor spartan has a very sore patch on his tummy from his food reactions but other than that I'm not seeing any other allergy reactions, thank goodness.

Speak to Ptolomy ST - if you haven't already - she recently sent bloods to Dr Jean Dodds - from what she was telling me it is not only cheaper than getting them done here but also more accurate.

MG I have been to Rivergum once for a consult, luckily it didn't go any further than that, I had nothing bad to say really.

Millie is at the vet and I am awaiting a phone call update to let me know how it went. They said the surgery will probably take place before lunch. :crossfingers:

Poor girl hates the vet. Vet nurse wasn't able to walk her out the back as I waved goodbye at the door, so I had to walk her back there. Then when she wouldn't get in the kennel, I had to pick her up and put her in laugh.gif A warning that she eats blankets, a few kisses goodbye and I was on my way. Please let me hear some good news soon!!

What/where is Rivergum?

Poor Millie... mine do that too but they can be picked up which makes it a bit easier

Rivergum is a specialist referral vet in Willetton, I had to take Kyzer there when it was suspected he had a spinal injury (he didn't - he had been eating polar fleece which was giving him discomfort and pain). Fail
