My tafe lecturer is a behaviorist and very well known and has taught me alot, so will stick with him especially with all the support. He has had dogs his whole life not sure how long he has been a trainer for but know it is a long time

Zola had a bowen session today  Poor girl, she hates going to the vet to begin with and having to be put up on the table on her side was almost more than she could handle :( :(

But with a few strategically placed acupuncture needles and some bach flower drops she ended up doing quite well :) Only to return home and get a bloody beesting  Poor girl!! Shes curled up asleep now though, darling pathetic BRD

Poor Zola! Similar thing happened to Ruby, home from the vet after vaccs as a puppy and we get out of the car, she sticks her head in a bush next to the driveway, gets stung by a bee! Blows up like a balloon, and we're straight back to the vet  Reminds me that I really need to buy some antihistamines to keep in my car in case it happens again!

Off topic and I will probably kick myself when you tell me, but what does BRD stand for? :o

BRD = big red dog :) Poor Zola :(

I will be at the Winter Festival on Saturday (and Sunday). No Fri night for us :D

Well done Rach. I know a few people who did the TAFE course and they were Club Instructors but from stories I heard other people seemed to be very in experienced!

 Spot on Mirawee, Big Red Dog aka Zola......Shes fine tonight, not even any "after effects" from the 4 grams of Vit C shoved down her throat!!!!

Will endeavour to catch up with you Mirawee & also Emery!!! (who will not be hard to miss by then I imagine :D )

If a vet does xrays and u need to see a specislist why would they refuse to give the xrays to you??

I am not sure what the rules are on getting xrays but I have always been given my xrays - afterall I paid for them!!

If they are refusing to give xrays to you but have referred to a specialist then they should be sending the xrays directly to the vet at least.

Does anyone know of a nice place to have a meal in the Swan Valley that allows dogs?

We went to a place a few weeks ago but the food wasn't anything to write home about so looking for something nicer. It was lovely being out with the dogs so hoping we can do it more often :)

Any recommendations?

A bump for you :)

I don't know of anywhere but would be great to know!

Anyone been to YaHaVa coffee in the swan valley? They have an outside section and I was wondering if dogs are allowed to sit out there. I should ask next time I'm there as I go there a lot hehe.
