Thanks guys - RS yes James' tail has pretty much returned to normal so i guess two weeks is an extreme case. the only thing i can think of that may have brought it on is that he had a bath under the hose on Saturday and that is said to affect them (but usually it's going for a swim in cold water!) he was in a heap of pain on Sunday (which scared the crap out of me) but a day later and he was wagging again so it's all good.

Poor Emery i hope you are feeling a little more sane now!! you must have been feeling very frustrated!!

Lab Rat i think I am at the show on Saturday - working dog club show.

are you coming to that one?

here are ari's belly shots for this week. she looks sad and fed up but that's because i'm taking more photos of her... not because she's feeling pregnant - quite the opposite she is still running around as normal and up and down sand dunes. :)

SROADC starts back 9th may. Agility is 7 pm. Not sure what time they are running advanced beginners but there is usually a 7 pm class. If your wanting to do agility, check if they are running an 8pm advanced beginners class. They did last term:)

Hopefully I'll be seeing you at the agility, if Louis can be brave enough  If it's too much for him I guess I'll have to retake beginners obedience and work on the damp grass drop :o:laugh:

How's Scoota doing Ptolomy? Hope he's eating ok still :)

As I posted on FB - receptionists can either make or break a vet practice and I will not be returning to my usual practice ever again. I also feel that having to wait 24 hours for blood test results in this day and age is at least 12 hours too long - hmmmm.

Well bloods have come back showing very little improvement and they now show some kidney involvement. Feeling let down by the usual practice I emailed Bean's specialist and received a reply within minutes arranging an appointment for scoota to see a specialist I have previous had one of my kids to, and who I think a lot of. We have an appointment on Monday. I have also received an email from his accupuncture vet who will write us a referral and will meet us on Monday for the appointment.

There are some very special vets in this world - for which I am very lucky to have dealings with 3 of them - thanks guys you are all one in a million :D

and to my former practice - I don't appreciate the treatment I received today from either the receptionist or the head vet, and like I said earlier I will not be going back.
