RIP Hurcules

There was an adorable Kelpie pup at the show today that was either black and tan or brown and tan

Assuming he was in the show ring he is a red/tan... chocolate/tan is not acceptable in the standard. I haven't seen him since the Classic so it will be interesting to see how he has grown at the show in a fortnight

Yes I cant wait to see him again soon Mirawee :)

The little ones I saw today - working lines - were chunky little monkeys! Also watched a 5month old in the yard with the sheep....confident little man, lots of voice too!!!

There was also a little female tri border who I got to hold and snuggle while her mum was on microphone duties....Think our two were a bit jealous when we got home....they wouldve smelled them and the greys

That is so cool boxagirl! I didn't know there was sledding in WA. What are the details? When/where etc. Can any breed join? Any corgis doing it? Can you have a team of 3 dogs?

Hi Mim, any breed can join as long as they are physically able. Can have any amount of dogs from 1 to 8. There aren't any corgis there at the moment, but there are some mini bullies, small border collies and a tiny sibe doing it, so I don't think size is a big issue, as long as the dogs can run and pull :)

WASSA WEBSITE Here is the clubs website which has all the details :)

We train at 5pm on sat and sundays at the gnangara pine plantation- near ellenbrook.

The last beginners day is tomorrow at 4pm, at the pines, but if you want to come down and give it a try when real training starts you can borrow harnesses/scooters and ganglines from the club and members are always happy to help :)

I started at the start of last year with my sibes, it is great fun.

There is also a WASSA facebook page with heaps of info if you have facebook

Would love to see them give it a try one day!

When proper training starts again (when it is cold enough- we only run when it is below 15 degrees) training starts later, usually 6pm or later- if that helps. We train and race in the dark :) (usuing headlights and bike lights)

Another great day at agility :o

Ruby got another clear round in Novice Jumping, and Millie got her first clear round in Novice Jumping. Both made it to the finals :o

Both girls got their 2nd clear round in Novice Agility, also both making it to the final for that, too!

So proud of my girls! We had a fantastic weekend

Thanks to CrazyCresties for taking some photos of our dogs! Hope you enjoyed yourself
