I once saw a guy at BP&G Canning Vale who had used the hydrobath for his Setter, and had the dog on a grooming table next to the hydrobath trimming and drying him :happydance2:

I have never used a hydrobath before because my dogs are small and almost bald :happydance2:

Welcome Jodie Elijah :happydance:

Hey AP, was that an English SEtter? If so, I think i know who you mean :happydance:

RS, I know what you mean about the puppy classes, but I would still do them... Ari was in a house with 4 other dogs when she came along. I didn't bother with puppy classes but she went out a lot as soon as she was allowed, to socialise. She still turned out more difficult. Spartan also didn't attend puppy classes. James, onthe other hand, did and he is the easiest of the lot  In saying that, I think that TAPT courses sound great. I'll be referring all my puppy buyers to them.

 Oops!!! Probably long gone by now Emery!!! Although I hope lady luck is on your side and some one from here finds it for you!!!

Welcome to DOL Jodie Elijah! Looking forward to seeing puppy photos when Spike/Boris arrives

I hope you gt your power back ASAP mirawee - so you and your tribe can be clean & shiny for the shows LOL!!

One of the advantages when I was showing Zola was that she rarely needed a bath - and a quick wipe over of her was enough! The Kelpie on the other hand is a hairy little bugger! I could sweep every day and still not get all the hair! Good thing I dont have to wash her regularly for any particular reason!

I am thinking of heading to the Armadale Reptile Park on Saturday, and then going out for lunch...Thought I might as well take advantage of being a tourist while I have time

I will be baking cake tomorrow, as were heading to Perth Friday morning......So I will endeavour to make cake delivery rounds Friday night....The closer it gets though and the more I think about it, the more nervous I am feeling - I hate introducing myself to new people :) (you would think being 42, I wouldve gotton over that kinda sh*t, but ahh, no!!).....I will apologise now if I sook out and dont introduce myself to any of you  But I WILL try!!!!!

Find me on Friday night at the obedience and I can introduce you to all the obedience crew who you don't know  Am tossing up whether to bring the Kelpies down for the outing as well  You haven't met Kinta yet :)

Glad you made that comment LabRat, remember when you walk into my house :-) I am getting quite used to the "fur-lined floors" look :-)

Don't be silly! We are a friendly bunch, probably talk a bit too much though! After trianing last night I was talking to RosieFT and Mirawee and Ozjen for ages, then RosieFT and I said we were going then I think we ended up gasbagging for another half an hour next to the cars

RE puppy schools - Kyzer went to puppy school. And look at hime

I think puppy schools can be good but I will never ever again go to one that is just a free for all with puppies getting smacked down all over the place, especially with smaller puppies.

Ill have own spitting machines soon!!! Have two Llamas on order. When we went visiting, the boys spat at each other, but not at us humans!!! I learned that what they spit is the contents of their first stomach - which is why is smells so loverly

Think Ill stick with the reptiles this time, although I would like to visit Marapana one day!!

LabRat - definitely don't be shy to come say hello, we're all friendly :) I've made some really great friends in real life through DOL  I think it helps they're all doggy people like me so we're never short on conversation

I thought that as I was driving away and saw you there, but you told me you were only doing the early training so I thought you had gone!

I was, but I stuck around for a while and did some stays and stuff. Then had to babysit 2 more Labs while their owner knicked off to the shop and didn't want to take them with her  Saw you guys and was gonna come over but didn't get a chance. Actually, I didn't see you at all, and only saw RosieFT as she was driving out the carpark. I saw mirawee, ozjen and J (J came over to say hi to me though, you rude buggers!!!)

Millie didn't miss Banjo too much, Mr Guinness is her new boyfriend :p I think she has a thing with black kelpies!!

Well Trixie and I managed to entertain our whole class last night  We were doing a jump grid, and after she took a jump she ran over to the tunnel (a good 8 metres away and not part of our course) but instead of going through it like a normal dog she jumped it, then turned around, jumped it again and came running back looking pleased as punch  Oh you should have heard the giggles :love:

 Well as I was trying to get Millie to see the weaves ahead of her after a jump, all she could see was the A-Frame a few metres away off course, which she kept going to as I tried sending her to the weaves  It's not that she loves the a-frame, I think it's really that she just can't see the weaves when we approach them and was convinced I was asking her to do the a-frame. Ruby is sort of the same, but getting better with this (but at least she didn't take the a-frame )

And know I have quite a few of you as FB friends, I know real names, which isnt quite as embarrassing when making introductions! But now I have to try and remember DOL and real names and get it right..........At least I know everyones dog breed and their names

Oh and I saw all Millies results in the K9 news too!! there were quite a few names I recognised!
