I am soooo happy with my boofheaded big red sooky la-la!!!

Tonight my darling Zola ate not only half a chicken frame, but also "chunks" of lamb meat as well as a lamb rib bone  ;)

She mustve been listening the other day, when the vet said her teeth were looking pretty average from no bone munching!!!

Last time I tried her with bones (turkey wing pieces) she flat out refused! And usually anything but mince is ignored or chewed and discarded!!

Of course then OH commented that she will prob'ly have the sh!ts tomorrow...... Hope not, poor kid!

Anyhooo.............havent been on for a while, so good to see people achieving good stuff!!

I am so looking forward to the Western Classic!! I hope to catch a glimpse of some agility on the Saturday night after Ive checked out the Kelpies being shown :) .....Hopefully I may get to meet some more DOLers too!!

You should have been entered :) My girls did good. I entered them both in Open class, Not For Competition to take a bit of the pressure off. Both did well, but Millie, what a good girl she is :D :D

I did not think Mason would be ready ;)

I still have not actually received my membership card from K9, I got a membership number emailed to me and a magazine posted but no card so far :)

ETA - for the Classic will the obedience be at the top or bottom oval?

Yeah it was fairly windy at the K9 last night! By the time I made it into the ring at obedience (just before 10pm), the wind had picked up and I struggled to walk in a straight line (more so than normal ) I was standing around chatting just before going home, around 11pm, and the wind was blowing me all over the place!!

It was blowing a gale by the time I got into the ring in Open. Because I am such a crappy throw, I asked to throw my dumbbell in the opposite direction...into the wind. The judge was surprised more people didn't want to do this!! I guess many wouldn't think to ask especially if you're new to Open. Mind you it travelled a fair way and landed just next to the start post..good boy for getting it from there.

We came soooo close to gaining a UDX pass last night! Mum's crappy turn meant he didn't get the last leather in multiple retrieve but gee he was good!!!

Your girls had a nice work out in the ring with no pressure RS  Looking good for the Classic :)

 about WA and windy weather. I remember all too well the one and only time I threw a DB over the solid jump and it blew back into the jump. The Judge who I think from memory was Anne L-H permitted a rethrow and we still got full marks for the exercise in the end  .

You can bet the first thing I did when I got back to Adelaide was switch to a plastic DB in case I decided to trial back in WA again ;) .

I saw your dumbell throw land next to the start peg ;) Judge asked me if I wanted to throw into the wind, must have been because you asked, so I threw it same direction as you did. I hope the Classic goes just as well for Millie :) Though I hope we find her drop on recall before then

Don't worry Brookie, mum will make sure her turns are better next time ;)

1 maltese that escaped her/his owner and come runnign to us. my three stood there tails wagging lol.

and two kids come from no where and start patting them. they took it all in their stride and it made for a lovely change going out with them no negativity
