Mason_Gibbs
Mason looks great! There is a lot going on and he does not seem phased or distracted by it at all! I also LOLed at the lead in SFE... it just kept going and going! I was very impressed with his SFE. You should be very pleased with his progress :D Thanks guys, I was also impressed at how focussed he was, his heelwork could have been better but seeing that it was his first time at K9 I was happy
ness
No I agree with Ptolomy . Hmmm you should see some of my mock trial videos by the time I have stashed jackpot containers and or tug toys in my back pockets - talk about fat bum then :D . boxagirl
Mason did really well  I agree- we need to have more of these every year! If I had known what it was going to be like (and being able to used food in the rings) I would have brought Wolf down

RubyStar
Well done Rusky on organising it - you must be glad it's over! You did a great job at such short notic :rolleyes:I had fun although didn't really end up doing much - some recalls, a jumping run and photo shoots Slack as. And you were still one of the last to leave after the lights went out Last night was awesome, thanks so much Rusky for organising and I really hope we raised a lot of funds! I managed to cram a bit in last night but would have liked to do one more jumping round with Ruby. I did an Open obedience round with both girls, a novice jumping course (with weavers) with Ruby, novice agility with Millie (proud of her! we didn't execute the weaves very well as she was only 1 day into actually weaving all 12 :D but the rest was good!), did the tunnel challenge with Millie, then a novice agility round with bedazzled's Brooklyn - soooo much different to handle than my girls (obviously!) Where I have plenty of time to get a front cross in with my girls, I was too late with him, causing him to knock a bar. He was a lot of fun, hopefully you'll let me run him again bedazzled :D Well done Candice and Mason on their CCD round, it was lovely to watch!! I didn't get to watch your CCD round mirawee but you said it was good so yay ;) ;) I did some heelwork with Ruby in a ring by ourselves and she worked beautifully, but couldn't execute the same with a judge. I think we both just can't perform well with a judge, too much pressure and distraction I have a personal challenge I need to overcome, and that is my ring nerves to get the best out of my dogs!! RubyStar
There was some nice obedience work happening and I see a few of you have decided to take the plunge for the Classic - goodonya  Just wish we could have one of these 4 times a year - absolutely perfect - what do others think. Yes there were distractions alright! Much more than an obedience trial which was a bit much for Millie, which is why I would also love to see one of these combined practice trials a few times a year too, more chance to proof Millie's obedience skills in such a distracting environment
RubyStar
Wo HOo what a great first up effort  and for those on FB - NO your bum didn't look big ;) I didn't notice a big bum either and again I forgot to look for it ;)
mirawee
Meet my newest family member <G> She is 10 weeks old and is meant to be our next Mouser. Her Mum is also a Mouser on a horse property (and has now been sterilised!) No name yet - did consider Fois (F off I'm Scared) but she actually isn't too bad now She is also a very spoilt Mouser, we spent over $200 on stuff for her from BP&G She will stay in the big dog pen in the stable for at least a week and will hopefully be able to be sterilised on Friday

mirawee
OzJen, she is in the stable Diva even got kicked out of her stable so we could set her up in the one with more cover She is in the big dog crate and will be for a little while until she is more used to us and knows where to hang around for food I have a mouser for Sarina, my cat who is 13 still catches anything that moves and is always hungry she is so active for her age, she is siamese x and I found her abandoned at an old riding club I used to ride at. Our old mouser was 14 when she had to be PTS due to cancer Our cats get fed twice a day so that they don't disturb birds, but she was obviously still catching mice too as we are constantly seeing mice now and never did before! ETA: Our other cat is 17yo but she lives out the front of my house - which is a fair distance from the stables so she doesn't hunt down there regularly. Mine does not catch birds anymore but when we lived in Bayswater both cats hunted next door every night and always brought us mice and once got a huge huge rat - was the size of little Mowgli cat who weights 2,5kg lol! Mason_Gibbs
I have a sulking dog, he looks so sad and depressed and the only thing I can think of is because he has not played with his mate Phoebe since he got the sores on his back. I am going to try and take him to do something fun today
Stellapup
Hi everyone Fairly new to site as I have just acquired a new mate in the form of Stella the Stafford. We have two adult cats who aren't too comfortable with her but don't fight which is good.(just a bit of hissing and hiding). The cats have learnt to go high for safety and we put their food high so Stella doesnt eat it and so they have peace when eating. Is there any other tips to keep the household happy. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Also any good puppy training classes or trainers anyone would recommend south of the river.

Final not tallied yet but over 3 grand not bad with less than a week to organise. What I loved the most was all the sports getting together..obedience people having a go at tunnels and agility people doing obedience rounds and Rally O. I heard a few people remarking on how well their dogs had gone for them in an untrained area...very exciting :D I think one of the funniest was getting you guys to leave your dogs in stay position during the round to come and pick up a raffle prize RS Thanks WA dog community...you rock

Make sure your dog knows the cats come first, and don't tolerate any stalking or chasing of the cats. As for puppy classes, the absolute best one is Carolyn Read's Train A Pup Time I went to two lots of puppy classes recently (simultaneously) and Carolyn's classes were so much more valuable, informative and beneficial than the vet puppy classes I also attended. Good luck and have fun!

Thankyou golden rules have started puppy classes and have our last one on tuesday but really keen to do more so we socialise her well as not taking her out in puplic until vaccinated.
