mirawee
I was a terrible 18 year old. I was as thin as so I wore short short dresses and skirts and I was the cheekiest thing out!!! We all go through that phase though so it does not bother me. We went to Mustang for a friends hens night in Northbridge and there was a much older crowd there!! Not all of us Agreed. I have never been drunk And because I don't drink much alcohol I have never been that keen on going out and watching others get drunk! Tiggy, I have been eyeing that off too

Dogsfevr
I for one, didn't go through that phase... my first 18yo experience was going out with my sister to the Taipan room and that is probably just about the extent of it. That scene doesn't suit everyone, but I don't think it's fair to label those that do enjoy that scene.Emery I am really sorry to hear about your daughter... must be so scary for her and you... More than i have done, Never been to a night club, don't drink.don't smoke . Not a night owl (except dog shows ) & not a party person except for civilized ones where everyone isn't p*ssed . Now i am old fart who still like's the quiet life & yep 18 was a long long time ago

I do remember one shameful night where I went out for dinner and drinks with friends and they kept buying me drinks as it was a celebration of me leaving a crappy job - well I remember walking down the street, arm around my friend, shouting at the top of my lungs "I hate drunk people like us that walk down the street shouting at the top of their lungs" :D How lame I am such a nanna!!! :D Love my cocktails, though! Mirawee, come join us for cocktails one night
RubyStar
I like pubs where you can still hear the conversation. I've been dragged to nightclubs a few times before and absolutely hated every second of it! These days I prefer dog trials/shows where you can sit with like-minded buddies and our dogs with some drinkies and snacks!

I have friends who have an 11 month old black lab called Casper. They are the friends I was with the day you saw me at Riverside.

I had a great night NYE with Ptolomy and RallyValley, and catching up with mirawee and ozjen. If I had to sit by myself and then get told my dog is crap well I wouldn't like that either But if you're with others (and your dog is still crap) well you've had a great night! ;)

I didn't go clubbing until I was in my 30's ;) . Curfew didn't allow for late night outings so when I became a divorcee I let my hair down and partied, whenever I had a babysitter at least. Miss those days, of music, dance and good times but use to laugh at the scantaly dressed young ones walking around Northbridge freezing their butts off. I had a great time on NYE - and hubby who HATES the dog shows with a passion tagged along with me (and was my designated driver ) actually mentioned he may have enjoyed it too...and I managed to have a few or maybe quite a few drinks.... reminded myself why i dont drink a bit when Im showing... the Vodka doesnt like me running while its in my belly I was running around for best in show and it almost felt like it was curdling in my stomach... Mind you, I wasnt really really drunk, was still very co-ordinated and felt fine the next day - bounced outta bed
