Well i did way better than i expected ,ruig & inter in show with the wild child .

My record under both judges isn't great so an added bonus to a night i had planned to be home early for LOL

He perfomed like a pro out there. Nice to see setters represent

Atleast in the wind no one could see the crap grooming.been a not to plan week with mum in hospital with kidney stones & a full house of boarders & ensuring all the oldies get the special care in the heat.

They both got a head/neck & throat trim & the rest was

Atleast they have a few weeks off to be spruced up

Thanks guys, if she wasn't so intent on having whatever Lewis has - doesn't care what it is only wants it because he has got it- then she would be fine. Never injured herself in the 18months before we got Lewis. Now she is always doing something stupid!

can i have a vent????

posted on facebook that poor zeus is starting to slow down, he is a bit stiffer than normal though still his happy self, he isn't far off having to start catrophen injections which i posted about,

Cousin by marriage writes back why don't you just put him to sleep.

Throw away animals to her who has just got a kitten a week ago and is already getting rid of it.

made me so mad. if he was in pain and not happy etc i wouldn't prolong his life but by golly he is only just developing athritis no need to give him his wings yet. She seems to think i should and just get another grrrrrrr.

not my boy after everything we went through and getting him back, i will go to the ends of the earth to make him comfortable before he goes for his last romp in the sky. but i am not throwing in the towel yet.

okay vent over sorry made me mad. they always ring me to ask if i can help rehome the dogs they have got i say no and i am over it.

I manage to keep Gizmo quiet comfortable on Fish oil tablets and Glucosomine, only goes on it when he shows signs of being sore or stiff but it starts to work fairly quickly. Have been doing it for a number of years and I believe he still has plenty of life in him although I have had the occassional scare. If I couldn't control his discomfort I would consider the green dream but while I can he's sticking around. Like you Emery I would be hopping mad if anyone suggested I just put him down and replace him. You may be able to get another dog but you can NEVER replace them, they are all unique and special. :)

holy crap that is the closest call I have had with a snake so far this year!!!

My heart rate is slowing down but not quite normal yet!!!

A dugite around a foot away from Lewis and myself - Rommi was trotting along on the other side of me thank dog!!!

Poor Lewis I yelled his name sooo loud he thought he was in trouble but it got him away really fast. Dogs safely removed!!!

Now for a sit down and a coffee!!!

Bloody hell!

So glad I do not have to deal with snakes! I don't think I could do it at all :happydance:

We had a lovely morning at Riverside Gardens with friends this morning. Paddy was playing with their 5 month old Whippet and 10 month old black lab, there was also a Rotti pup with it's tail docked, and of course we had lots of other dogs come up to join in.

My boys are now totally out to it under the airocn. That means the rest of the day to myself :o

so agree he is my baby and i will do everything to keep him comfortable. if and when i can't i will consider doing the right thing but right now i am fairly certain he has plenty of life left in him.

went to the meet at the beach today so ia m sure a few can contest to him being happy and healthy (to a degree) chasing his ball and swimming :happydance:

Was that little Bear that came running into all the dogs? I did wonder when I saw him but then I thought no, he would be bigger! He was tiny! And that was pretty rude of you not to say Hi! :happydance: We don't bite you know! :cooldance:

We will be back there tomorrow morning as well ;)

It was quite clear this beautiful pup had had his tail docked (to me anyway, not like any bobtail I have ever seen). The owners looked like bogans, were not very social people, and also had a beautiful entire Mastiff with them ..... as well as a couple of other dogs.

I find it weird when people let their dogs interact but they never interact themselves.

Anyway, we will be back there tomorrow, I might take a chair and a beer, sit with the bogans :champagne:
