RallyValley
Not wanting to take away from Lara. But Toby is seriously the happiest I have ever seen him. His tail is wagging constantly, he has stopped being so timid all the time and is enjoying being patted again. He is also learning faster and far more ethusiastically. He is engaging in play again and seeking attantion instead of slinking into the shadows. It's like I have a new dog!I have this video of Toby two days after I got him and he is such a bouncy happy thing, he is getting back to that. I think he really suits being an only dog. Glad Toby is happier It reminds me of an old cat I used to have, we always felt sorry for her as an only pet and so when I found my siamese x I took her home as a friend for Purr-Leigh cat, Mowgli always loved Purr-Leigh, followed her etc, and until the day she died ( which was in 2008) Purr-Leigh never wanted a darn thing to do with Mowgli, she hated sharing her home with her. My husbands cat moved in with him when he did and Mowgli and Socks have been best buds for the last 3+ years now - they love one another. Just shows how different animals can be! bedazzledx2
My lot roll their eyes...your not going training...again??!!? I dunno, talking about Mason on a dog forum, that's a sin!! I think you are saying sorry to the wrong people We're all a little dog nutty ;) Wish my family understood They used to, but skin kids came along and it was forgotten how important furkids can be to some... including them... ;) I am the only dog nut in my immediate family but my one step sister is also a dog nut in my extended family and her sister is also quite fond of dogs but not as much as the 2 of us are. My brother and mother are not really animal people at all.

Mason may also be doing some modelling work in the future Woohoo go Mason!!! I want my girls to do modelling work, that way they can pay their own way for some things We will see what happens, they will only use him if something comes up for a black lab, if they ever need some yellow/choc labs I will tell them about Ruby and Millie too ;) Ruby is my photogenic girl Mason looked so awesome against the black background, I will post the sneak peak facebook link when its up I am so proud that he won the photo shoot and print in the first place I know I talk about Mason a lot - I think I am really so proud because the 2 dogs I had before were such difficult dogs, he is so easy going, I think thats what I love most about him Amen to that Sista!!!!! Having a ridgie and a kelpie, I sure know which one is easier to live with ;) Happy birthday Lara!! Well done young lady Welcome Dobelover! RubyStar
Wish I didn't have work tomorrow I want to sleep in, dammit!! Can anybody who has had their dogs titre tested please let me know how much it cost for them to test for parvo and distemper and the place you went? VetWest quoted around $220 per dog, but silly me asked for a quote including hepatitis so I need to ring back and ask how much just for the other 2. I still fear they are mighty expensive! I want to get the dogs done soon, so if you can help it would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

Thanks I paid $60 or $70 bucks at my vet which is Vital Vet, he does prefer to vaccinate though but after my dermatologist told him under no circumstances to vaccinate he did the titre. washa
I had my 2 done in August, $266 for both of them, so $133 each. Was for Parvo and Distemper. I went to Wanneroo. Well worth doing as this was the first time I had done the titre and my 7 year old who has been vaccinated for his whole life didn't have enough cover for Distemper! Ptolomy
Rubystar - I got my last lot done at Ranford Vets - just up from Vetwest - $64 for parvo + distemper. I did say that I didn;t need a vet appointment as I had been doing titres for years - so it was a case of the vet nurse pulling the blood and sending it off for testing and two days later I got the results emailed to me. Hey Xolo - it wasn't me you saw - it was Zoe - she has a tollers numberplate and a bigger tonka van than I have. Valley - that is just the bestest news about Toby - you could see him coming out of his shell the day Lincoln left and I am so glad he is a happy camper. Thanks for the birthday wishes, Lara had a lovely day doing what oldies do best - sleeping and eating
