BUT on the off chance someone does... is it worth the extra $$ to get a Scalectrix slot car set, or are the copy cheapy brands ok? My husband wants something 'fun' for christmas, and i am sick and tired of remote airplanes going missing !! hee... He muttered something about slot cars and i remember playing them as a child. BUT the scalextric ones are WAY more than your no name brand from toysRus. ?!?! Anyone?? I don't mind spending the monety if it is going to be way better ???? thanks :-) oh, and dog dog dog dog.... It's freaky when someone you don't know knows you! Remember that lady at the DOL meet who asked you where Kyzer was and then she said to me she has watched all my obedience videos and we were like but who are you?! Yes it turned out she was a DOLer who is more of a lurker, and I guess the nature of this public forum with us posting personal details about ours and our dogs names, videos, where we are meeting, etc. but it still freaks you out Yes Kristen no longer has her dogs I believe. Cost will be between $130 and $150 per person. Dates I am currently looking at are Sunday 3 or 31 July (great seats available on the 31) - both 6.30pm shows or Sat 13 August at 8pm or 2.30pm. I remember once when I was a courier driver in the country that there was a snake in front of me when I was driving and I automatically closed my eyes because I figured that I couldn't miss it. Then I turned the car around to check and it was gone so I spent the rest of the day jumping in and out of the car from a mile away(with a puppy in my arms as my dog use to come with me) as I thought it was waiting curled up under the car for me to put my foot down so it could bite me. I also use to drive with the windows up on stinking hot days with no aircon because someone told me that they can get flicked up into the car if you run them over. ;) I guess it shows how scared of snakes I am.
