I'm thinking I might come this Monday to join, I'll bring Banjo if I do, I was going to wait until next year but I have three trials :) in mind for early next year so two weeks at SR is better than nothing :( , I'll bring Baby Bear as well the next Monday when he's allowed to go out yay! If I don't end up coming this Monday I'll come on the 6th or you guys won't get to meet Bear until next year when he'll be big.

Come and say hello if you go on Monday. My class starts at 8pm, but I'm usually there before hand hanging around

He is now resting after having had lots of cuddles from his very relieved Mum. Not usually careless with tablets especially with a dog like Jenna around who likes to steal and eat everything but I had grabbed a couple of tablets as I was leaving for work the other day and in my haste I must not have been careful enough or had registered that it was empty and not put it away again.

Oh poor Gizmo, and what a fright for you! How's he doing today?

Paddy are some Cocos Plam berries the other day and the vet asked if I had some of those crystals ..... I didn't so they said to put some salt as far back on the tongue as possible.

Daisy is making a bee-line for these at the moment as soon as she gets into the front yard, so I'm picking them up first. Are they toxic to them, or is it the blockage risk that is the worry with them?

No, I don't think they are toxic, it is the blockage risk that is the issue.

Paddy was fine after his little snack but he heads straight to them as soon as we go out the front, so I will keep him on lead until they stop falling.

Blockage is a massive issue.

We lost our top show bitch to a blockage & learnt a very quick lesson on how to do a good barium meal to pick them up as they don't show up on xray

Have a go at Rally-O!

On the 10th of December at the Doberman Club Trial there will be a novice Rally-O ring running alongside the traditional obedience rings. The ring will be judged by Vicki Nemeth who will be assisted by Andrea Gilbert.

The ring will be open at 7.00pm coinciding with the start of the trial and will keep going as long as people are keen to try!

There is a $2.00 fee per course run though and all funds raised go towards the Rally-O Working Party for the future development of the sport.

Everyone from total beginners to Obedience Champions can come down to have a go! Also to those competing could be a great warm up exercise for you dogs .

:)

See everyone at agility tonight that will be there. :(

Yep - blockages - Ptolomy's Lexi had to have surgery to remove some of them that had caused an obstruction and I've been scared of them ever since!

I had a palm tree cut down before I moved in as it was dropping an insane amount of berries. I also had another gorgeous tree cut down at the same time because I found out their berries (and leaves!) were poisonous to dogs! So thankful I posted a pic of it on the net for a knowledgeable DOLer to tell me it was toxic before I moved in!!

Or a fast-track to sucking all their energy out before they go in the obedience ring :mad

I'll be giving it a go, I'm not entered that night

I'll be stewarding the JD (and JDM I think) rings tonight :):(

Get well soon Lincon, sending hugs and cyber treats.

Mas2009 the chiro I use is Kevin Kelly, I haven't got his number handy but he will be in the telephone book, he's in Ascot just behind the Macca's store on Gt Eastern highway. He does the racehorses but is also very popular with the dog people and is very accomadating with times, often whippping up from the racetrack to manipulaite dogs. He only charges $20 and does it in his front yard and although I was a bit skeptical the first time we went he worked wonders with J's dog and there was a marked improvement immediatly. Jenna's been a couple of times too, usually the only way I know she is out is when she starts to refuse to do Agility, although we didn't alway realise at the time.

What is wrong with Mason??

If any of you lived closer you would be welcome to most of my beef bones as I only have so much freezer room. Most end up thrown out.

Hey OSoSwift have you spotted Bedazzled down your way yet????

If you do - can you put her in a post bag and send her back to Perth please :champagne:

Nope sorry, been away for a few days myself, but if she is still down here I am keeping her to help my training :birthday:

I am not sure if there is anything wrong but a couple of instructors have mentioned that its a good idea to get them to a chiro a few times a year - Mason sits really funny, nothing I do seems to improve his 'slack' sit - been trying to teach him the 'obedience' sit but I am not having any success :champagne:

Hope Lincoln is well soon Valley :birthday:

So annoyed with myself, I was supposed to be taking Louis on a group walk this morning, comprised of three of the reactive rover classes combined - walk started at 8am, I woke up just after 8am :champagne: Not sure if I turned my alarm off in my sleep or not, but it's a PITA as it would have been such a good experience for Louis :birthday: Bad Mum :birthday:

Hope Lincoln is doing ok this morning Vally
