CC for the flys there are a few products on the market... you can also get... is it pyrethrum? gosh i can't remember, but you just dilute it in a bottle and spray it on... keeps off insects. When i found out spartan was allergic to some insects, we used to do this.

Dasiy looks very cute with her new, light spring jacket

Thanks ST, I'll have a look and see what I can get, I don't think she's allergic......in hindsight she was scratching her neck a bit, but not so much that she'd had an adverse reaction to them.

GR - how adorable, hope you end up with the most perfect little well behaved boy :)

I am puppy clucky, but not to own one... i just want to show one! Ari is enough puppy at nearly 3, and like Trixie, is becoming worse as she gets older!

Woohoo! I've found myself a handler should I ever get an Aussie that I can show  Or an ES :)

Here we go ..... puppies born on Monday 9th August.

Not the best photos as they were taken with a phone by the breeder by I was very happy to get them

I can go visit anytime but am waiting until they are about 3 weeks .... they are just little worms for now :)

WOOHOOO!!!! Congrats, GR!!!! I can't wait to give your new puppy lots of squishes when he comes home to you and you are able to bring him along to a DOL meet

I hate being so puppy clucky when you can't get one yourself :D I just loved the excitement of puppy being born and counting down the days til it comes home! Lucky you, GR :) :D

You would have more luck with a group 3 dog (A big hint cause I want some ES puppy cuddles :D ).

Rebus is a real softie and a lovely dark colour - almost toller like

How exciting Golden Rules. Do you have a name picked out and who is mum and dad?
Yes, there were big SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES when I found out :)

Oh I am SO useless with names - one cat got Mackie because she is a mackeral tabby Maine Coon, the other cat got Bluey because he's grey and white....... so not original

Anyway, I have the following names:

Robbie

Andy

Davey

Jamie

Johnny

Jonesy

Ben

Jock

I think I'll need to meet the little blighter before he gets his name but I am leaning towards Robbie because it's Scottish, or Davey because it will run off the tongue easily when I am roaring at (Davey and) Dougal

Mother is Soda and the father is Rebas - I don't know their full names!!!

How is little Stauss going? Not long now till you have him home? :D

Well you didn't seem all that terribly enthused but hey, the puppy is yours to show! :p Wait a sec, I don't even HAVE a puppy nor a puppy coming in the near future  But I will keep you and ST in mind when that day finally comes :D

Not if I went another Lab...

If you went another lab would you go for show of field lines?

To be honest, not sure... but regardless, it won't ever enter the show ring, it will be trained for retrieving.

Edit: I would probably approach Ruby's breeder for another Lab if I ended up getting another one

valley... rounding out the set would be nice... but I just love the yellows too much :) Ruby's breeder only breeds yellows.

I started with her just after she did that shoot! I was so spewing, wish I had of been there when she did it hahaha

I am hoping she lands another job like that and I get to tag along (she knows how much I love dogs, I spent most of my time when I was at hers playing with her dog hahaha)

He stole my heart the first time I laid eyes on him!! I wanted to run away with him there and then! :)

I love the Tollers and I was very tempted to go down that line - I love their temperaments and size and coats and colours but I just prefer a black nose over a pink nose even though I could end up with either
