M, what do you do for work? :(

I torture people  Well that is the short answer

Really, I do electrophysiological eye testing :birthday: Which involves putting electrodes on different positions of the head and face and getting people to watch certain stimulus in order to figure out which part of their visual pathway isn't working as it should be. But we use eye drops that sting (I think most eyedrops sting :D) and I can guarantee that even the most laid back baby ends up crying at some stage as they just get fed up with all the poking and prodding we do... not that anything we do (except the drops) hurts at all  Luckily we only get one baby or so a month. Although my last 5yo screamed when I put the drops in, but I think that was as much because we "won" than them actually hurting  Adults are generally better (except the blokes that look big and tough aren't always  )

Hey because I'm too lazy to find out for myself  what time are the nationals on day/night? I'd like to go watch Friday or Saturday.

Starts at 9am in the morning with games starting not before 1pm. It is a day trial only

Had Mason in the crate at tracking today, we we standing within sight and he tried to dig out the ventilation and ended up bending the crate ( my OH bent it back again) but I wasnt impressed with him, think I need to do a lot more crate training with him.

I'd invest in a good wire one to be safe.

Wire one doesnt fit in the car so like it or lump it he has to learn to go in it, if he wont then i will just tie him to a stake. Its my fault really I should have crate trained him as a pup, he will go in it at home and sleep in it etc but when there are other dogs around he just wants out!

Me and Toby DQed today, I think Toby performed admirably, given his handler buggering things up!

Yeah, handlers can be our dogs' own worst enemy  I think Abbey and I are fairly even on her stuffing up and me stuffing up

So looking good for Thursday then?

Sorry I forgot a wire one wouldn't fit in your car.

No worries  Hubby and I have already decided that our next car will be a bigger one, probably a nice 4x4 with loads of boot space :)

It's early days yet for both of you, making mistakes is part of the learning process, at least your giving it a go. Not many go out in the begining and get quallies straight of, Amypie & Kysar, and Mirrawee and Abbey, are just too good for the rest of us to keep up with. :)

Hardly ozjen  There are a lot of un-quallies being thrown in too :)

We got another jumping leg this arvo though, Valley had to leave and said she was sorry she wouldn't be able to film it, I told her that because no one was filming he would run clear, and he did :mad

And hey, Abbey and I got 3 passes in Novice agility at our first three trials... and it has taken 2 years since then to get 4 passes in Excellent agility :mad :D

Does anyone know of anyone in the agility circles in Perth who make tug leads (slip style) and sell them? I'm after a nice strong one, so one that has some rope through it too. Hope someone can help me!

Alternatively, any websites that have these? Must have the rope because I find they are too "boingy" if they don't have it in there!

Okay guys, have been trying to work out a place that might suit all tastes at a reasonable price and J and I thought that Sizzlers might fit the bill, there is one in Kelmscott or Riverton decent choise of meals for <$30 including all you can eat salads, soups, etc usually including drinks in most cases(soft or hot) and dessert. J and I usually find the salad bar enough for a decent feed without ordering a mains too which would make the price lower. Also this would allow for those few that might have younger folk with them (the non furkids, kids). Time wise I'm guessing maybe around 7pm to allow everyone time to get home from work.

Open to everyones thoughts and ideas as we only have a couple of days to organise it. Still happy to take alternate suggestions.

Helen who runs Lexi makes the lead tuggies and Gillian makes the tuggies with rope in them.
