dwynwen
My girl takes thyroxin and digoxin. I've always given them at different times but although I manage to give the digoxin at 12hr intervals I have more trouble getting the thyroxin on time. I can't find any mention of them _needing_ to be given separately. Anyone heard of any interactions with these two drugs? (my vet seems happy for them to be given at the same time but sometimes I think she goes with the 'easier for the owner' solution, so I'm double checking)
Got Spots
The drugs are completely different there shouldn't be any problem giving them at the same time. My human patients are on both quite frequently and we give them at the same time
goldielover
Shouldn't be an issue. Not so sure about dogs, but i know of many humans who take both medications in the morning.
dwynwen
good to hear .... it will make things easier around here ... right now I have both dogs on multiple daily meds and I have to keep little checklists .... eta .. now that I think about it I could have asked the MIL, the FIL used to take both.
