roughcoat
It is with sad hearts and frond memories that we say farewell to our lovely lady Nikita till we see you at the bridge . Nikita was breed by Ian and Phillipa Clark and came to live with us at 8 weeks old . She was a very cheeky and naughty pup who almost sent Michael insane and he often wanted to send her back to the Clarks . I remember the time that she chewed up the kitchen drain pipe and the time she pulled out all electric wires at the back of the house . Also the day that Michael had come home to find the kitchen looked like a bomb site . She had pull all the ribbons of the wall, tipped over the bakers stand and broken all that was on it , pulled down the curtains and tipped over all the kitchen chairs. Then it seemed overnight she turn into the most perfect angel you could wish for and she would never put a foot wrong . She took on the job of been the head of the pack and loved nothing more than to lay in the shelter on the hill in their pen and watch over both her 2 and 4 legged family and this is were she crossed over the bridge to the other side . She would the rest into line when ever they did anything that she new was not allowed . Ever now and then the boy would get out and take off to the house and she would stand at the gate barking at them . When we would take them back to their pen she would stand there barking at them and hit them with her paw as if to say " You know you are not allowed to do that " just like a mum telling her naught kids off . :D When Nikita was 2 she had her first litter and out off tan litter came our Lloyd who has since passed on . She was the best mum and would be very happy to look after any pups even if they weren't hers . She was born to be a mum !! She loved to be shown and was at her happiest in the ring . Anyone that knows me knows that I am not a good show handler and I remember the time that I ran around the ring the wrong way and at the end the Judge bent down to her and said " it is luck you are so lovely because you can win even if your mum is a bad handler " Pepper was always her best mate and is crying a lot ( he was 10 last June ) . Lately Bear had become her second best mate and love the time when I would let them out in the run just the two of them to . She would get down with her bum in the air and try to jump at him than lay down and look at him as much as to say " I'm far to old for this " and she would let him continue on his own . Run Free Lovely Lady ,Lloyd will be there to meet you and he will be so happy to have his mum again . You will always live on in our hearts and we will never foreget you Darling girl Julie (mum) Michael ( dad ) Pepper, Carly, Elle, Bear , Grizzy, Jade and Yegor Edited November 13, 2009 by roughcoat

Sagittarian
A beautiful tribute to a beautiful lady. Thank you, Julie, for the call last night and thank you both for providing our little Kita with a loving home. We all have many wonderful memories of this very special lady and she will leave a big place to fill behind her. From her first family, she is survived by her sister Evie, who, along with her brother Langley was her best and most fun competition in the ring back in those first few years, and it was a time never to be repeated or forgotten. Vale Nikita. Rest well, sweet baby girl. Phillipa

Guest Ams
:D I agree what a lovely tribute. The love you have for her is so clear. Nikita cross the bridge, regain your energy and strength, find your puppy Lloyd and keep all the other puppies safe as they wait for their owners to join them.
