Ravyk
Here is a digital painting [unfinished] of my friend's GSD. My first ever attempt at this kind of artwork. What do people think? Constructive criticism appreciated and encouraged. [of course if it is crap, please tell me :D] Edited November 5, 2009 by Ravyk

Ravyk
Thankyou I'm using Photoshop CS4 How do I do it? I basically block the colours, using the eyedropper tool to choose similar colours to the photo I'm using and then use the PS smudge tool to smudge it all together and building up the layers. What I've done so far has taken me about 6-7 hours to complete. Edited November 4, 2009 by Ravyk

Ravyk
I use the paintbrush tool to create blocks of colour [or random squiggles of colour in some cases]

RottnBullies
Awesome I know you've explained It, BUT Is there an easier way of explaining It, coz It went straight over my head ;) Do you need to draw the picture from scratch?? If that's the case I won't even try to attempt It Have been seeing a few digital artworks around and they look great!
