Ulfhednar
Just a brief history I rehomed a rescue husky around 2 weeks ago. She was desexed 3 weeks prior to her leaving. At the time of desexing it was discovered she was approx 4 weeks pregnant. The decision was made to abort the puppies. I have received an email today from her adopters who have said over the last couple of days her personality as changed She has become very snappy at them and in you face. When she was here she was a very gentle girl but also quite timid. The family have asked as to wether this would be a hormonal issue as the puppies would have been due around this time. They have contacted a trainer for advice and assistance.
Sandra777
My money would be on the dog has settled in and her true character is coming through.
Ulfhednar
Yeah maybe, she certainly was not like that here but she had 8 other huskies she had to contend with. They have someone coming out to look at her on Thursday.
sas
I'd say in cases like this there's no place for assumptions, get a Vet to check her out and then if nothing shows up there get in a Behaviourist to assess the dog and make a decision from there.
