Hounder
Hi all Was just wondering if anyone has used the above product and what are your thoughts? OH and I both have failing eyesight and won't clip nails in fear of cutting the quick. These clippers have a sensor to detect if you are going to cut the quick or not. The reviews I have read are mixed but tend to the negative but not sure if that may be to user error or faulty/misguiding product. ellz
Honestly I wouldn't bother with them Hounder. You'd be better off with a rotary grinder. You don't necessarily need 20/20 vision for those.
Hounder
We got one of those but Bree freaks out at the noise
ellz
Do you have an extension arm? Sometimes that helps because the noise of the unit itself isn't so close to the dog. Failing that, clip a bit off the end and then use a manual file to shape and get closer to the quick. Gimmicky things like peticures and stuff like that are rarely worth the money you pay for them.
