I've just ordered the DVD Training The Whistle Recall so I can use the whistle for RRR on our walks and keep 'come' for obedience.

That's funny as that is the word I use and have no problem with. If you read the ANKC rule book it says one word, one syllable in English so that word is perfect.

I should have added, that I can't use it because it would be a second command as my "come to heel position" is either "around" for a right hand finish or "back" for a left. I use Close to tighten up the final sitting position if they are crooked or out too far from my leg.

but I do have lax commands for around the house or on casual walks

my working commands are all in Serbian and since most peoples pronunciation is different command refusal comes easily to my dogs. General words are in english

bit funny when you scream 'PUSTI' out to a dog long distance ... anyone who knows greek goes between confusion and hilarity
