Just wondering if anyone has one of these cameras. If anyone does. When i forget my card in my camera it still lets me take photos. How come i cant retrieve them from the camera. i have taken some really good dog shots but then gone to have a look at them on the camera and have forgotten the card.

Is there a way i can get them off the camera without the card inside?

Any help would be great

I've only ever owned Pentax cameras. Personal opinion, they're not as good as they once were. My old film K1000 has been serviced once in 20 years, I think I've replaced the battery twice, once just before I got married 16 years ago and again about 5 years ago. My new K200D is back t Pentax for the second time under warranty for a sensor failure. However when it is working, it;s a great easy to use camera.

I'd suggest that the quickest way to solve your problem, and it's one srtong point with Pentax, email there customer support. They are really quick to repsond and very helpful. Otherwise try posting to http://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/ I didn't know you could shoot to an internal memory, are you sure you actually shooting to the internal memory? The shutter will work regardless of whether there is a card in it or not.

ok what a buggar. stupid bloody camera lol. still takes lovely photos though when i have the card in there :)

Pentax SLR's do not have an internal memory. Sorry to say but the pictures you took without a memory card haven't been stored anywhere. Essentially they are lost.
