BittyMooPeeb Posted October 26, 2009 Share Posted October 26, 2009 I'm trying to find grooming scissors with an offset handle (ie when the blades are parallel to a table-top, the handles are raised above the table top). They are used to cut around a dogs feet. I cant even find a picture of them using google! But I havwe seen them used ... so they must be available somewhere ...... These ones have the handle offset to the side of the blades. The ones I want have the handle offset above the blades. ETA. I wish I could find a pic, but I cant even find that LOL! I'll offer up a poodle as the guinea pig! With the $AUS so strong at the moment, its a good time to order from the USA. Mine are Heritage brand from there. I've attached a linky..here they have a shot of some offset ones. Mine are Sabers. I've I had the cash, I'd go for Stilletos. I have curved and straight offset shanked ones. I prefer offset shanks because the blades stay level with your fingers, giving you a good feel for where you are cutting.
