j
I have just purchased a set of Wahl KM2 clippers, which will come with size 10 and size 5 blades. (To replace my ancient thrive brand, which I can no longer buy blades to fit - only occasionally on ebay and then it's a lucky dip) I have noticed on a lot of sites they also sell after market ceramic and duralium (sp?) blades for much cheaper. Are they any good? Or should I just stick with the brand name blades? thanks in advance.
luckypup
personally i dont like ceramic blades. yes they dont get as hot as quickly but they also dont cut properly if at all. i try to avoid them. Never heard of Delerium blades? if you have the Wahl km2 i would stick to the brand name blades (Champion/Oster/Wahl). yes they are more expensive but will last you much longer, cut for longer (providing you look after them), and are just better quality in general. i would also stay well away from anything Shear Magic, for the same reasons as the ceramic ones. But that is my personal opinion...
luckypup
oh and also, Clipperworld are prob the best and cheapest option for blades. id stay away from ebay for blades, generally speaking...
j
Thanks for that. I bought the clippers from Clipperworld, thru ebay. Got a package, so I'm pretty happy. Just got to wait for them to arrive now
