Heidii
What happens if ...you have entered a novice trial but your dog gets his/her title the week before? Can you ring them and ask to be put up a class or do you compete in novice anyway?
leopuppy04
Depends on the trial Some will let you go up a class - others you have to compete in novice anyway. The saying is that if the closing date hasn't ended, then you should go up a class, but usually, that's no problem... depends whether they have written the catalogue or not
Seita
Depends on the club. TECHNICALLY the answer would be no as it's after closing date but if the club hasn't printed the catalogues yet they might let you go up a class. I know when I've been a trial secretary I have allowed people to move up to the next class if I hadn't already printed the catalogues which I never did until about 2 days before the trial anyway. I guess you should just phone the club and see what they say. You can still compete in the novice class you've entered if they don't let you go up because you entered it before you got your title. Tay.
Haha this happened to me just the other week! Got our CCD title and was already entered in CCD again the following sunday (entries already closed). I just did CCD... not that we passed because someone got tired in stays....
