all that glitters
I am changing Shyla from Eagle Pack Hollistic to Royal Canin Junior German Shepherd dry food. When changing dry foods is there a certain way I should phase out of the old and into the new? Over a span of a week, would that b ok? I guess I'll add in a bit by bit and monitor her poos as well. Hope she likes RC! I'm over Eagle Packs lack of availability
casowner
Start off with 25% RC 75% EP, then gradually 50%/50%, then 75% RC 25% EP before going onto just RC. Depends on his stomach how quickly the change over should be, normally 1-2 weeks for sensitive dogs. Then again most shelter dogs get what is served up on the day, I would still do gradual changeovers though
lindadiosa
I am changing Shyla from Eagle Pack Hollistic to Royal Canin Junior German Shepherd dry food. Just wondering Shelle, is there a big price difference between both? Is she only on dry food? Monte has been on Eukanuba since we brought her home and I'm considering a more 'economical' way without comprimising quality though. :p
all that glitters
Hi Linda! Well I can get the Eagle Pack $115 for 15KG and the Royal Canin $93 for 12KG So pretty much the same price wise!
