poppop Posted October 6, 2009 Share Posted October 6, 2009 Hi. I am looking for recommendations of good vets in Sydney to take hip-score x-rays. I have been recommended to go to Graeme Allan but he now only personally takes the x-rays for PennHip ($580) but I don't need the PennHip score; I only need to get x-rays taken to send to Dr Wyburn to score for me. I understand I need to get someone who knows what they are doing - ie is experienced. Can anyone advise an experienced vet I can take my girl to to get the x-rays done? If you do book in with Karen, make sure she is the one actually performing the xray. Rob's xray equipment is just so awesome, i've never seen anything like it. dancinbcs Posted October 6, 2009 Share Posted October 6, 2009 Jim and Marilyn Gill at Austral also do a lot of hip x-rays for breeders as well. Basically any of the three main breeder's vets in Sydney ie: Hedberg, Zammit or Gill are all excellent vets and all do a lot of hip x-rays. Just depends where you live and may also be worth comparing prices. These three surgeries have most of the registered breeders in Sydney as clients between them.
