Itchy Boy Bits!

Yesterday Fletcher rolled on his back for a belly rub and i noticed his scrotum was bright red - mostly just on one side. Had a closer look and it was a bit scabby, the scabs flicked off easily but it was a bit weepy. I went to work and spoke to the vets and took home some Silvazine which seems to be a pretty magical cream in many wounds that i've seen in patients.... it's been 24 hours and its the same as it was.

I think i threw myself off though a bit because i used his new hair dryer for the first time on Sunday and so at first i thought maybe because it's so sensitive i'd burnt him... But now i think it's more like chaffing from how muddy he got at herding during the day on Sunday. Don't really know what's caused it, would love to know how to make him feel better because it's very itchy and i've caught him many times licking at them when i'm not watching.

Anyone had any experience with this before, any tips or other things i could try?
