brigie bear Posted September 28, 2009 Share Posted September 28, 2009 A few of you may remember a thread which I started a while back about whether to have our old boy, Elroy PTS due to his multitude of health problems... He ended up crossing the bridge on August 27th 2009 cradled in my arms at our lovely vets office... It was his time. We miss him so much every day and I still wake up every night to check on him, only to realise he's not there. It was the most difficult thing I have ever had to do and the worst decision I have ever had to make... It was the first time I have ever had to decide something like this and I hope I dont have to do it again for a long, long time. I don't regret my decision at all - Elroy is at peace now... But I miss him more than I can put into words... My house is empty (even with three dogs still here)... my life feels different without him in it and I'm just sitting here waiting for the pain to ease...
