First Season

I have a 9mth Cavey who came in season on the 14th of this month.

She bled for 5 days.

Heavey to start with then went to nothing over the 5 days.

Last night she started to bleed again but heavier.

Is this normal for a first season or could it be something else?

OR Is it a vet visit?

did she maybe start cleaning herself?

if there is no pus, fluid or irritation I would leave it and just keep her clean if she doesnt. Some will, like my bitch, others dont ... the joys of an entire bitch :offtopic:

is she acting OK otherwise

She is her normal self.

Happy go lucky :offtopic:

I will keep an eye on her and keep her clean.

This will be her last season as i have been advised not to breed from her due to a

slightly torn crushiet ligament.

Thanks guys :cheer:

Why would a torn cruciate ligament prevent you from breeding her? A torn cruciate is not a genetic condition. If she is true to type and heart/patella/hip and eye clear there is no reason why a cruciate problem should not get in the way :)
