chuckie500
I picked up a sample bag a few weeks ago and my little ones like it. They like the big chunks to chew I think and I guess that's good for their teeth. I was think of using it just a bit (I usually use Eaglepack and Dr Bs BARF patties) as a treat snack more than anything. Any opinions of Nutro Natural Choice pls. Thanks ;)
CP*
Mine have both Eagle Pack Holistic and Nutro Natural. My male gets the Nutro kibble as I found the EP kibble too small for him and he was getting smelly breath (and inhaling rather than chewing). But I use the EP kibble as treats because it is small. My dogs do flyball and agility and have long coats and I find both products give them the energy they need. However if given a choice, my dogs do prefer the EP canned meals over the Nutro canned meals (they get the cans if I dont have time to prepare meals) There is a big difference in cost between the two products though. I do like that the EP meat is human grade .
ShesaLikeableBiBear
We fed Nutro Natural Choice (US product) for eight years prior to it being pulled from the market here. We now feed the Australian made product in the Lamb and Rice formula and have no complaints. However during the interim when it was not available here we fed Ziwipeak. We currently make our own chicken mince mixture and feed Nutro on the ratio of 2/3rds Chicken mince and 1/3rd Nutro. We use Ziwipeak for treats. chuckie500
Thanks. Yes I think it seems ok, but i just wanted to see what others thought. The think that puts me off a bit is the Beet pulp as the fourth or fifth ingredient, but as i said its not the mainstay of their diet.
