Ashanali Posted October 1, 2009 Author Share Posted October 1, 2009 (edited) Okay... after some heavy duty shooting, I am in LOVE with the Sigma 24-70 2.8 HSM lens (the one without macro). I went shooting in low light conditions and pushed the lens to it's limits and have been very happy with the results - the lens didn't struggle to find focus at all. There is a small amount of softness with the lens at 2.8 with lots of light but that is more user error than anything else (I should have gone to f 3.6 or 4 to cut it out. I knew it was going to happen but ignored it anyway.) It gets a from me. We are purchasing one (or two). ETA: I have a couple of photos to post but that will be later.
