Snap
Hi everyone, I've been offered $300 for the two kit lenses (without VR) and am pretty happy to sell for that price. Might try and push it up to $350. So now I must decide what to buy with that money. I'm thinking of going for the 35mm f/1.8 for about $350. But keep in mind this would then become my sole lens. Maybe I should save up for a bit and buy something a bit more? It's my birthday soon and I might be able to add about $100 to the lens budget. So I guess what I'm asking is, what should my 'sole lens' be? I don't shoot any particular type of genre so I don't need anything specific. I would just like something fast and preferebly with a larger apperture. Thanks
kja
50 1.8 35 is a nice focal length, but I think the 50 is just a tad more all rounder. on the other hand, the 30 1.4 is what I will grab quite often, too. but you do have to be all up in people's faces with the 30 or 35 where the 50 gives you a little more breathing room. anniek
I recently bought a Sigma 17 - 70 lens to replace my kit 18 - 55 and I really love it. Around $400.
