Teebs
How long till I can give Kaos bones again? She got her tooth out almost 2 weeks ago (bit tooth at back that she uses to chew bones) She is back on normal food, but Im not sure if it is ok to give her bones, or if I should wait a bit longer. Tru Borders
Hey Teebs Asher had his pre molar out at the start of the year and he was back on bones after the 2 week mark .... just to give that full healing time. He hasnt had a problem so far even though the pre molar is the big chomping one
Teebs
Thanks! Might wait till Friday to make sure it is the whole 2 weeks and give her one on the weekend thanks!
rose of tralee
May I ask, what kind of bones does she get? I like large cartilagey type 'bones'... butchers market beef femurs for recreation...scary! These have a certain notoriety for damaging teeth and some dogs develop a bone attack style which puts extra mechanical force on molars.
Stitch
Why don't you phone the vet that did the job and ask them? After all you paid them to do the job, so they should be willing to give some advice over the phone. I think that is only fair!

I think that is only fair! A call to the Vet is always a good idea .... but ... Why not ask fellow DOL'ers for their advice? Some of us have been there before and might have hands on advice
