some people are too nosey and send PMs about how the puppies looked :)

Well that just sucks.

Stuff them -

Your puppies are beautiful - be proud of them and put your pics back up.. :o please.

I have been looking at pug puppies for too long and every time I look at normal face puppies they all look weird. I need to see some normal puppies with regular shaped faces.

If you're referring to my PM which was a polite attempt at being helpful then pull your head in! If someone else was offended then perhaps my PM was on the mark.

Take the advice as it was offered, in good faith...

ETA: by the way, if you are infact referring to the PM sent by me then you'll notice (and edit your post) the word offended was never mentioned! It was polite PM offering advice...

If you read my post, it did say that the pups where messy due to being feed, two of my puppies are VERY small because the big ones puhed them away from mum, I have been supplementing them from two days old.

The other four are all going well and have good weigh gain.

I didn't comment on how your puppies looked, read my PM again! I suggested if you hadn't started to wean then you should

Next time I'll remember you don't take advice well!

I didn't read the above where ever it was written and my comment wasn't on "messy pups"...I'm really confused why you'd go and make a private attempt of helpful advice public and carry on over absolutely nothing.

It was a private offer of advice, now you've drawn attention to that fact that you don't like helpful advice  oh well.

Ok, Three week old photos from me :cheer:

excuse the messy faces, they've just had a meal :birthday:

PHOTOS REMOVED AS SOME PEOPLE WERE OFFENDED BY MY PUPPY PICS :( :p

Your message on the 2nd Dec

I don't need your advice, in 5 years I've had 6 litters from three different bitches, I think I have a 'basic' idea on when to start weaning :)

I guess you'll just need to think about how you word things or mind your own business, and I guess everyone has to be careful on which photos the select to post on a forum as their puppies might look to skinny or hungry.

Oh I'm sorry I didn't realise you knew everything and couldn't take advice as it was meant :p

I don't need to think about how I word things, it wasn't rude it was a polite suggestion!

Probably a good idea though to think about what photos you select to post if you don't want concerned/caring people sending you PRIVATE polite messages of advice.

I didn't comment on the photos in this thread, it was the photos in the BC thread, I don't recall reading your bolded text above there and if I had I'd not have bothered offering advice.

Have you started to wean your babies yet? If not start now...

I bred my first litter 9 years ago and I continue to learn every day. A lot of what I learn comes from this forum, from very knowledgable people like Aziah :(

I don't know what the private mail said but I wouldn't imagine that it would have been condecending in any way. I'm sure it would have been as stated "just advice".

I bet you wouldn't like it either if someone told you when it was the right time to wean your puppies, Benshiva.

Your puppies are there with you, you know their weights, and what they are eating and their habits, I guess people like Aziah like to think they are better than everyone else.

I did NOT say I knew everything, I simply said, I know when its the best time to wean my puppies nor did I ask for her advice.

:)

this is supposed to be a happy thread sharing advice and enjoying all our beautiful new arrivals pics.

I am sure that Aziah meant no harm and did not mean anything to get out of context.

When we have new litters we can get over tired stressed and really not ourselves and can be a bit sensitive, just ask my husband right now :):) thankfully my crew are now three and a half weeks old and I am coming back to the human race, only one eye propped open with a matchstick now.

I have started my seven on solids yesterday morning and evening, as it is a very large litter for a Frenchie, and I just noticed that the pups were not settling down for a decent sleep after just feeding from there Mum, so to lighten her load I decided to start the weaning and I am lucky to come away with fingers in tact, as I start them off the finger and palm of hand, one at a time, so as I know how much each is getting, at the weekend it will be on a plate and then the free for all starts :eek:

So let us all enjoy the beauty of our babies.

BTW Risyntra your babies on this thread, before you took the pics down, I thought were gorgeousl love Border Collies.

Gee - sorry I asked now, didn't expect this. I too have learnt a lot on this forum, valuable information that has saved the life of some of my puppies and for that I will always be greatful.

Hope this little sweetie can put a smile on faces. :D

Mjosa - love your puppies - they are beautiful. Might sneak in when your not watching and swap my black boy for one of yours. ;)

Nope you didn't ask for my advice but I gave it (privately), you didn't like it, simply ignore it don't carry on like a tool ;)

I can't see that Aziah really did anything wrong. She sent a PM with some advice. No harm in that. I'm guilty of it all the time! I guess the upshot is that it is up to the recipient how they take it.

For my part, I'm USUALLY grateful for comments from outside. I'm so close to my animals that sometimes an outside eye is what is needed to bring my attention to something that I may have taken for granted.

If I get a PM I don't want, I will either ignore it, or thank the person politely and leave it at that.

Heck, my puppies are positively PUNY compared to the other Stafford puppies born on the same day but I know I'm doing my best and Koda is doing her best so the criticism that I too have received has gone in one ear and out the other. I'M satisfied with their progress and daily weight gain and that is what really matters in the end. So Rysintira, you're not alone, I've had PMs too (but not from Aziah - we bug each other regularly about other stuff! ;)).

And on the subject of my Gang of 9.....5 are now over the 500gr mark and SIX of them have EYES!!!!!! :D

Congratulations on the new arrivals since I have been on here and the pics of those litters that have arrived earlier in the month are just beautiful, it is amazing how from little tiny babies to what they are looking like now at three weeks.

Here is a pic of the Frenchie clan taken at three weeks, yesterday.

The Gang of 9 are two weeks old today! :o

All are over the 500gr mark now with a few pushing the 700gr mark. I'm loving listening to them growl and bark at each other now. Poor Koda is getting frustrated though because they don't stay where she puts them any more AND they answer back like she does! :D

The girls:
