Also congratulations Angelsun on the arrival of your three little girls, great to hear the first time Mum has settled into her maternal duties, such as my Bridie with her brood of seven turning 2 weeks tomorrow and all now have their peepers open and they are looking so cute. Doesn't get any easier no matter how young they are or what the circumstances are. All I can say is that I'm very glad we don't all live in the same locations we Stafford people......can you imagine trying to show all of our precious babies against each other all the time? Koda's gang had a rather uneventful first night. I ALWAYS dread the first night but we breezed through. I am really amazed at how well Koda is doing. She's still a bit sore (of course) but managed to rustle up a tail wag and she tried to jump up to give me her usual good morning kiss this morning until she realised that the stitches in her belly made that a little difficult. I'm sure Koda is wearing the doggy version of a shit-eating grin and if she could talk she'd be saying "MAN I'm good!!!" ;) I'll do weights again later today to see what is going on, but they're looking good anyway. Yes it is a good thing as we are all so close in birth, our babies share the same birthdays Storm and girls are still doing well. All night I could only get milk out of 2 teats and was thinking I would still have to feed one pup each feed but just gave Storm some oxy and there is milk everywhere now, the girls are loving it and all have milky grins now ;) It was hard losing the other pups and I have a lot of pet people who are going to be dissapointed but I am very happy with the 3 girls that I have and 3 is so much easier to handle plus I still have Scarlet to go in 12 days Leanne Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

During the past 2 years I have lost at least 1 puppy in each litter it is so disappointing, no wonder I am a complete mess during the whelping, I just keep wondering if the next puppy will pop out screaming. fbc Posted November 23, 2009 Share Posted November 23, 2009 (edited) Ok guys I am sooooooooooooo happy to be able to post on behalf of Grooma that Remi has had by c-sec 4 new babies. 2 x brindle and white boys 1 x black and whit boy and the highly coveted :D 1 x brindle pied girl.
