Asalei
On the weekend, we participated in the beagle club of queensland lurecoursing event over the weekend and my girls scored quite well. One got a score of 163 and the other 167 with the girl getting 167 coming second in the Novice class. Last year the other girl got 165 and came 2nd as well. This got us both thinking that we'd like to look into lurecoursing for them on a competition level. I'm not sure if these scores are great, but we were told that scores over 160 can go towards a Field Championship title. Can anyone explain the way the points system works towards obtaining the Field CH title? I've read the QLD Lurecoursing association's website, but it's a bit confusing! Do you have to attened every meet for 12 months and have your dog score over 165 every meet to be able to obtain the title? Any information would be greatly appreciated. MTD
Erin there is a trial this Sunday at Kuruby. Come along and have a run and ask the Lure coursing people there. They would be happy to explain. Maggie loves luring and is doing very well . It is a fun day watching how the different breeds chase the lure
