Ravyk
Here's a few pics from our walk yesterday. I was playing around with this one and quite like the effect I ended up with, even though it makes the image look a bit blurry. Where's these taken? I wanna go there. newfsie
I am getting boring here, but there is two more............ Firstly this one has the rising moon, with the last of the sun's rays on the branches I cannot leave out this picture, which I have posted before, but I just love my dogs And this is the last, i won't bore you any further..............I just like this series, because it was about the same/similar view, with different angles "10. Shoot it again with an alternative orientation. Just like I mentioned in point 6, always look to see if works as a vertical as well as a horizontal, or vice versa. Don’t just shoot the obvious" frame. Edited September 18, 2009 by newfsie

Ripley
Gosh you guys live in some gorgeous spots. I work in the city, and I haven't had my camera out this month, but here are a few taken a few months back of our beautiful country, the Barrier Reef, Heron Island. Big Log (unfortunately before sunrise walkers left footprints along the waters' edge) Popular snorkelling spot A while before the sun rose Storm rolling in Oh look, found another dead tree :D Got up at sparrow's fart before sunrise and found soft pastel light, some teenagers were greeting the dawn in a more lively manner (far right) Sunset, taken hand held from the bar, I almost made it before the sun set. becandcharch
Thanks JS! I used lightroom. For the 1st one - from memory I changed it to 'aged photo', changed the exposure and added some black and some vignette. Im still learning so I love that you liked it! I actually thought of you when I was snapping at randoms in the street. After seeing your street photography thread I have been trying to get the courage to get up close to people for a good shot.
