Sheepdog School For Beginners

The next Koolie Club Sheepdog School at Binalong near Canberra will focus on beginners. The school is held over a Saturday and Sunday (currently we are looking at 3 and 4 October) and costs $130. It is held on a large and well equipped working sheep property and the trainer, Brad Pellow, has represented Australia in yard dog trials. He uses real sheep and covers both herding and yard work. If it is raining we work in the large woolshed. The school is open to koolies, kelpies, bortder collies, shelties, etc. If you have another herding breed and are interested contact me and I will check with Brad. If you have experience herding feel free to come - you will get tuiition at your level.

I was getting all excited until I realised it's the same weekend as the APDT conference.

We have the schools every 4-6 weeks and can always cope with a new starter - it is just that I know several peoplke are keen to try it out so we decided to focus a school on them - send me your email address and I will add you to the mailing list for future schools.
