As soon as I buy a bag of food I transfer it into sealed containers. Grumpy would scoff the lot if he could.

Ours is always... but I have been giving a couple of the dogs outside the yard some breakfast- they are a bit lean... there was a hole in the fence

Just wishing you all the farts in the world along with the burps.

I am sure you will have a happy healthy boy in the morning.

Please keep us all up to date.

If the rescue remedy is out I suggest YOU start on the Brandy.

Good Luck.

Guest Pandii

How is Hamlet today.

I have never thought about my dogs stealing food, I keep dry food in those foot peddle rubbish bins, in the laundry right next to where they sleep, the lids are broken and they never sit flat, yet my dogs have never stolen food from them, but if one bit is dropped on the floor there will be a scuffle over who eats it, very strange

Thanks all- it was a restless and smelly night- but he appears fine !

some one wrecked the repair I did on the fence- so he was out of the yard again this morning- but I haven't yet put breakfast out for the other two- ...therefore nothing to scrounge !

All our food is tightly packed away..... in drums with lids- but a gutsy barrel will find a way

Thanks again for being with me last night :confused:

he is the biggest scrounge ;)

for about a year after he had his surgery for foreign body ingestion he was not allowed outside the house without his muzzle........... maybe I'll do it again :)..

Arrrrgh!!

next time someone offers me a puppy- especially if it the 'talkative and lively' one...I shall RUN

Glad to hear he is feeling better.

I had a dog who was not let out without a basket muzzle on for the last 5 years of her life. SHe was happy enough, occasionally the Stafford would pull it off for her and we would have a few anxious moments, including her vomiting up about half a bucket full of Capeweed! Thank god that didn't stay down there of it would have been bloat surgery number 4!

Hope everyone one behaves for you at least for a little while!

Good to hear he's OK. Years ago, my sister's bully got into a stack of dry food, but he had to have emergency surgery to scoop it all out. It was probably not a premium brand (many years ago now), and it swelled something shocking.

Hamlet's OK now, that's great.

you are a wonderful dog owner so don't beat yourself up over this  .

when I was a kid we had one dog that could open the fridge door and on Christmas evening greeted us with a cooked turkey in her mouth! My Dad had to put a lock on the fridge door so she could not repeat it

Glad Hamlet is on the mend
