poodlefan Posted August 14, 2009 Share Posted August 14, 2009 Not much Poodlefan...........we drive down the street then get out for a little walk and then onto Gloria Jeans for coffee and lots of interaction with people, he is creating quite a stir as he really is a little gorgeous honey.So in saying not much, I guess the actual walk would be 15 mins tops and its just strolling around the CBD but I so cant wait till he is old enough to walk with me, the rest of the family and Dexter drove home today while I walked on my own and I was so jealous of all the other dog owners out walking. I want my big boy :D No worries. I'd not be doing too much more until he hits about 6 months. Great way to socialise him with people. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

She's a stubborn little thing too but totally adorable so it cancels out edit: think there is a recommended age before you use a halti though. Maybe someone else can clarify this? For most dogs, once it goes on, it's on for life. Dogs do learn to pull on them too. With a young dog, and training, there is no reason why a flat or at worst a martingale collar can't do the job. Ah, I see you've never met Mouse :D Absolutely hopeless dog, been training her since she was 8 weeks old and she still won't not pull unless she's on her choke chain or has a leg over her leash. She weighs about as much as a soaking wet miniature poodle though so I've given up.
