Good Vet In Brisbane Area

Hi all,

I hope someone can help me, I have a wonderful 11 months old Rottweiler boy.

About 5 weeks ago we took him to the vet for a check up. We thought he seemed to be limping on one of his back legs so we asked the vet to check on that. She tried, but she seemed scared and unwilling to wait for our pup to be calm before performing the check which only made him more agitated... needless to say I don't think she was able to perform a full check but at the time I thought she probably knows best, anyway she said it could be whole range of issues from cruciate ligament tear to a muscle spasm and so on, she gave us an antinflamatory powder and an antibiotic, told us to give him rest and light walks. Which we did, he seemed to get better we thought we're out of the woods! then yesterday we were outside in the garden, don't know what happened but pup just started crying and limping, now he's limping worse than ever. I need to take him to a vet problem is we haven't found a good vet yet, so my query is DOES ANYONE KNOW A GOOD VET WHO HAS EXPERIENCE WITH ROTTWEILERS?! willing to travel anywhere in Brisbane! HELP PLS

PM me and i'll give you the name and address of a vet who has a lot

of experience with diagnosing, treating and operating on Rottweilers. He's doesn't have any fear

of large dogs and can handle them.

My rotty breeder friend takes all her dogs to him and i was forced to take my problem

male rottweiler to him after two local vets in this area had no idea how to handle a large

dog.

I can find out which chiro the breeder uses too. Sometimes it's not a vet you need to see.

I agree, which is why Dr Rowan is popular as he specialises in chiro and acupuncture as well as being a vet
